Well, you've read the notes, the notes had nary a thing on their mind, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home with nary a thing on their mind.

I really liked that Gold Diggers of 1929 clip that DR MATTH was talking about yesterday.

Last night I watched BAND OF ANGELS....whew!  And then I watched STOPOVER TOKYO, which I enjoyed much more.  I bought it as a single disc rather than part of the Joan Collins box that was written about here by several DRs a few months ago.  Lots of nice location filming in Japan, and an interesting if unlikely story.  Robert Wagner is so handsome and he has so MUCH hair, and Miss Joan Collins box is entertaining as well.  She was a very pretty girl, and could do some acting when she had the chance.

When I see Mr Edmund O'Brien, I can only think of him as Fats....

My question for ASK BK day....what is the first movie script you ever read?  And what movie script would you like to read?

I am talking of course about movies that have been made.

Because I had to work yesterday, the trip to WalMart was postponed until today, and I was NOT about to go during the day.  So I got up at 4 a.m. and drove over there.

It wasn't very crowded, I could park close to the front door, and I found everything I needed.  I was actually going for my mother who needed some sewing machine needles and thread.  The writing on the Sewing Machine Needle packages sure is small, so it took me a while to find the ones I needed.

Also picked up some blank DVR and CDR disks.....

It's 6:45am. JR you posted at 5:40am and said you'd be back in a tick! You're still not here. Where are you??? Probably back in bed like any sensible person.

Me, I'm at the office to fulfill my half day before the two-day holiday. I have some pages to proof. I must run to the bank and then at 11am I am going to Penn Station to take the train to Ronkonoma. I will wave at Vixmom and WFO and Joe as I go through the various stations. I will be mostly errant and truant the whole weekend. The computer on Long Island is old and seems to be in death throes so it's likely I won't get on-line much.

I'll catch up on Sunday and Monday morning.

Good morning, all! I have a lot to do today, but the highpoint will be seeing ENCHANTED at 1:00; I'll see DR Jose, catch up on the gossip, have some popcorn, and enjoy he show both on and off the screen.

Before that, I've a lot of work here on the charts for the Men's Chorus holiday concert, and I have to begin Ashley Brown's second orchestration.

And so to work.

Wednesday morning greetings!  My internal clock went off at the same time my alarm would have on a workday, so I'm up and puttering.  Rob and girlfriend are stopping here for a late breakfast (pecan waffles) on their way to her family's in Michigan.

DR JRand57, I've been remiss in sending my happiness and I really am pleased for your family that he will be okay.

I am sulking because today, besides my own work, I am covering the desks of three of my absent co-workers.  Management is being so very generous by letting us out one hour early.  I also have to work on Friday.

Ho ho ho!  :)

Did you get my voluminous attachments yesterday?

It would be nice if you were with us as well.  I can't keep DR Jose in line alone!
