Yes, he wrote it, with the lyrics by Adrienne Anderson.

And if you don't "feel" like transcribing, you could always CLICK HERE to download the sheet music digitally.

You are my new favorite person, though I've already finished the transcription, wouldn't ya know?  I'm arranging it for SATB, anyway.

Everyone's a critic, though some shouldn't be, department:  The theater forwarded a review by an "alternative" paper lambasting the theater company for not crediting the pit musicians in Cinderella, which I guess I should take as a compliment, since I and my pre-record are the only things going.  Unfortunately for this reviewer, I know the publisher quite well, and his wife is an old friend of Betsy's, so I placed a call to him saying snarkiness is one thing, uninformed snarkiness is another (since I am quite clearly credited in the program for both the pre-record and playing live).  Mr. Publisher just called back, aghast, and the review will be retracted in the next issue.  ;)

Everyone's a critic and an armchair expert in this Internet era.  And people on chat boards post these blogger opinions or fan opinions as if they were real reviews (not talking about your guy, JMK) and had some sort of meaning.  Of course, everyone is a filmmaker now (thanks to YouTube, and I'm sure some of these amateurs will be hired to make bad movies, because the people who run this business are that stupid, stupid, stupid) - just last night, I watched someone's Aunt Tillie make shav on YouTube.  That's Entertainment.

I hesitated to mention Charles Grodin's stint on TCM, although he was certainly the WORST ever.

But the discussion here turned into a different kind of bash.

I do believe I am going to attend the Ray Courts Burbank in Feb. 2008...I will get to meet the likes of Ernest Borgnine, Carol Channing, and Frank Stallone.

Of those three, which one do you suppose I am the most likely looking forward to meeting!

I just looked at the Ray Courts update...Molly Bee, Roberta Shore, Gregg Palmer, John Kerr, Diane Franklin, Bert I. Gordon, and Kathleen Hughes are all scheduled now!

I am thinking this will be a very fun show for me!

I wonder if I can talk Bert into having lunch with me so that we can talk all things Attack of the Puppet People related?

I always remember the older sibling -- I don't want to be the one to make the older one hate the baby because the baby got the present!

Sometimes being the "elder sibling" can be a chore. When my younger brother was born, my Mother insisted that no one could see the child unless I introduced them. I lost count of the radio shows I was pulled away from so Aunt Tillie could see the new baby! Mom was a bit paranoid that I, an adopted son, would resent the Baby, her natural child. As the years wore on, I always felt I got "special" treatment, not my brother.

Since you are DR LAURA, you probably DIDN'T have a few choice words for her.

I am thinking of my a Blu Ray

Sony - Blu-ray High-Definition Disc Player

Model: BDP-S300 SKU: 8403514

The price has dropped $100 + (depending on the store) is this a good model or should I wait for further price drops?

Nope Mr. Gregg Palmer (aka Palmer Lee) is still around, living happily in Pasadena.

And of course I will be chatting with him about Allison Hayes AND June Kenney!

Have you ever heard Mr. Frank Stallone sing? He is one of my favorite modern day crooners!

He is swell!

I'd have to look at the listing.  But, yes, it's conceivable a 16mm print could have been struck back then, for Armed Forces or the military or for one of the film's participants.  Or, more likely, someone might have made a reduction print off another print, which means the quality would be not great.  Not sure when Fuji came into existance (one of my Nudie prints is on Fuji stock), but it's occasionally prone to fading (although my Nudie print is not faded at all, but another Nudie print only has about seventy percent of its color and is also on Fuji).

But no, whatever this is, it could not have been used for the DVD - if you think there's a huge difference when the color goes wonky, the 16mm shift in difference from the 65mm elements would be horrendous and unwatchable.  That said, Fox, had they wanted to spend the time and money, could have fixed the color in those sections.

If you provide a link, I'll check out the ad - is the print in scope?

Misheardtyped lyrics department:

Googled "Daybreak" to see if I was hearing the words correctly, and came up with this impeccable reference text:

Singing to the world
Its time we let the spirt come in
Let it come on in
I'm singing on the world
Everybody's caught to the spin
Look at where we're been
We've been running around
Year after year
Blinded it with pride
Blinded it with fear

I personally feel it is unseemly to let the spirt come in--it should obviously be let out.

You know, if I can get Kenny Miller to drive over from Palm Springs, and Laurie Mitchell to drive in from Northridge, Mr. Gordon's lovely daughter to fly in from the east, then I could have that Puppet People reunion that I always dreamed of while Mr. BIG is at the show.

And then, for a fleeting hour or two, Burbank would look just like this!

Well, from personal experience, Tabitha - the entire cast changed, script, director and just about everything else.

My dad used to frequently comment that the script was scratched--either large rewrites or totally dumped--as shooting was about to begin. This was for TV series, not necessarily a pilot.
