Well, you've read the notes, the notes had both green and red squiggly lines, and now it is time for you to post until the squiggly cows come home.

This "huge" rainstorm all the weather forecasters predicted is amazing - I think we've had about six drops of rain in the last two hours.

Last night, we had a speed-through rehearsal.  We very quickly sped through the show just to be a reminder of what we need to do for our paying audience tonight.  It took us all of 1 hour and 15 minutes!  But then, we also didn't go through any of the songs, because we didn't have our music director.  Then we went home. :)

Whenever we did a "speed through," the show was always shorter at the next performance!  :)

Media check:

In my DVD player:  two used DVDs that I just bought yesterday:  "Hot Fuzz" and "Ratatouille."  They were $10 each, and they're practically brand new.  Also, the new musical movie, "Hairspray" and the old musical movie, "Zero Patience."

Of course, I won't have any time to watch any of these because we start performances of Nite of the Living Dead! The Musical! again and we have a performance tonight, TWO performances tomorrow and an evening performance on Sunday...at 8:00 pm!  That's too darned late for Sunday night!  The show won't end until after 10:30!  But tickets have already been sold, so it's too late to cancel. :P

Good night, all. 8)

That would be nice!  Especially for Sunday's show.

Last night, my main bathroom faucet bit the dust...so to speak.  The handle for the hot water was cracked before I moved in and for quite a few months now, has not really gripped tightly enough to turn the water on and off.  I actually had to use a screwdriver! :P Well, the screw finally turned it's last turn and I couldn't get it to turn off at all!  I had to turn off the hot water from underneath the sink.  I finally decided to remove the old faucet and put in the new faucet that I had actually purchased when I moved in. ::) Anyway, it was somewhat of a hassle (and I didn't get all the gunk off the sink around the old faucet), but the new one is in and it's wonderful!  I have cold AND hot water!  Here's a picture of my new faucet:

It's SO nice to have easily accessible hot water again..I should've done this when I moved in! ;) Just had to share. :D

Good morning, all! I think I have to take back my offer of three weeks' work at Barnes & Noble. I had a request this morning for a scoring deadline, I've got BABES and LADY OF THE SLIPPER sitting on my desk at Toyland, and I think I've got enough to work with at the moment. I'm trying to analyze why I said yes yesterday, and I believe it's because there are a lot of wonderful people there that I like and I miss them. I also like the job but I do know I don't like having to be on my feet for seven hours at a time.  That said, I think I'm going to call the manager this morning and rescind my offer, head down to the barber for my haircut, go to Toyland and then the NYPL for some research.

I hope this offer concerning the deadline comes to fruition, so we'll have to see, and, of course, I worry that when a job ends that I'll never work again.

TOD:
DVD:  Brothers & Sisters is still sitting here
CD: a lot of Arthur Fiedler, a lot of Christmas CDs
   VCR:  how rude!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday Wishes to our Nursie, DR Jane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
