Well... I'm almost out the door...

The Tomatillo Salsa really isn't "hot".  It has a little bit of heat, but it's definitley not "hot".  Well, at least not to me - said the Flapapino who ordered a "Three Pepper" dish last week at a Thai place and thought it ranked maybe "One and a Half Peppers".  ;)  Seriously, I'd qualify that Tomatillo Salsa as "mild".  But your mileage may differ.  ;)

Keith and I find our mouths burning while Bryan looks at us stating the food isn't hot as all.  While not to the extent Bryan does, Craig also likes food on the hot side.  I would bet our mileage definitely differs from yours ;D

I gave the kids their new beds for the bedroom last night for their Christmas presents.  Naturally, they both loved one of them and ignored the other.

Cute.:)

Feel better soon vibes!

Because of the big snow storm yesterday (around 40cms) the schools were all closed today (not exactly sure why, but they were).

DR Edi will no doubt be pleased to know that I do have Mr Coleman and the Atlanta Pops "Hooked on Country" (single).

(of course that's no doubt not really surprising)

No.  Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (Louis Clark) was the Hooked on Classics

Hooked On Big Bands was the FRank barber Orch.

Am I the only one here who actually saw Gorgeous George wrestle?  I saw a match between he and Freddie Blassie, and at the end, GG lost, and they cut his hair off (an obvious wig).  While I wrote about many of the wrestling matches I saw in Kritzer Time, I don't think I included that one.

I saw him on television eons ago. And, of course, many wrestlers after him adopted and exaggerated his style and manner as their "character."

My father took us to many wrestling matches in Charlotte, and I remember once even walking down the autograph line (only the good guys signed autographs) and getting signatures from all of the big guns on this side of the country.

Ah, the best laid plans . . . .

I had wanted to watch Miss Fannie Brice tonight, but, alas, the Blu-ray of UNDERDOG did indeed arrive today, and since it streets tomorrow, well, I know what I'll be watching tonight.

I got my shopping done relatively painlessly (except in the old bank account), and got back home by 2:30. I was pleased not to be out too long even though it is a gorgeous December day.

When I got back home, I began watching the last 35 minutes of HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE. Though I wasn't blown away by the HD transfer last night, today it seemed sharper and more impressive. Of course, there were a few brighter scenes today than in the first 2/3 of the movie.

Then I watched some bonus features on the disc (all in standard definition, alas). I watched the deleted/extended scenes, all of which were understandably cut.

I watched how they filmed the underwater scenes for Task #2 and how they animated the dragon for Task #1.

These featurettes were in the sDVD set I've had for over a year, but I had never bothered to watch them.

Then I skimmed through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. No gay characters, and they weren't in the previews for tomorrow either.

Ergh. Why did Renee Fleming have to do her concert in my hometown on a Monday? Better question: why did she wait til I moved away? *wink*

Oh, Ginny, your family room looks wonderful.  I have no decorations up this year.  I didn't even put a wreath on the door.  I m not a total Scrooge.  I gave the kids their new beds for the bedroom last night for their Christmas presents.  Naturally, they both loved one of them and ignored the other.

Thank you, DR TCB!  I wish everyone here could come over to have a cup of hot chocolate with us in that room.

PS - hope you're feeling better.  Not only did I stay home today, I'm already excused from work for tomorrow, too.

I've been doing quite a bit of work on the musical I'm mentoring, then picked up a couple of packages, and am now making halibut.

Do you mean in person? I never attended any matches, but I watched wrestling on TV for a couple years, thanks to you! My favorites were Tricky Ricky Starr and Haystack Calhoun.
