Well, you've read the notes, the notes drove you both in and outsane, and now it is time for you to post until the in and outsane cows come home.  Excuse me for one moment -

KEEP IT DOWN, YOU PIPING PIPERS!

There, now you may post away.

Not that we'd know anything about that on THIS site.

No...I never really got into theater until after I graduated from college and I was never in a production of Oliver!, either.  I've seen it a couple of times and I have several recordings, but that's it.

Yesterday, Mae-Ling helped make meatballs for tomorrow's birthday party. Then we made Christmas cookies.

Busy busy busy at the store yesterday, and the day before.  It will no doubt be busy busy busy again today, and tomorrow as well.

We'll be closed on Christmas.  It's the only day of the year we are closed.

Some people get ourtraged when they find out we are open on Thanksgiving.  "You shouldn't be open, you should be with your families!" they snarl.  "But what about those who don't have families to be with?" I ask.  They open their mouths, then shut them again and stare at me, bug-eyed and quivering because I've mentioned a truth they don't like to confront.

I'll be working on New Year's Eve, and on New Year's Day as well, from what I've gandered at the schedule Dixie (my boss) was drawing up.  Somehow, that's not the same thing as being there for the unfamilied on family holidays.

Ah, yes.  Over the meadow and through the woods to Magic Ma's house we go.

There will be roast beef.  I have little or no idea what else will be served.  There will be eight of us: Der Grampa and I, Magic Mommy, Magic Daddy, the two grandlads, and Magic Daddy's parents.

Ooh, that reminds me - I want to loan Julia Child's My Life in France to MD's mother.  I think she'll enjoy it.

And thus it is time (already) for me to prepare for work.

Actually, I first need to call the store to find out if I'm supposed to be dressed in green (regular check-out) or the infamous red (self-scan).

Later.
