...We also had our pageant.  They used a live infant for the baby Jesus!
I'm glad they used a live infant.  The alternative would have been reprehensible.

I definitely have "the sniffles" this morning....

Watching sad movies will do that.

TOD - Episodes

This is absolutely impossible!  Doctor Who has thirteen episodes per season, it is impossible to narrow the best down to ten!

 ;)

More seriously, that series had some of it's best stories over the past year.  The best of the lot was Blink, a time-travel sci-fi/horror story filled with "wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey" stuff, made even more remarkable in that it was a) told from the p.o.v. of someone who was not jumping around in time, but witnessing it happening to the people around her, and b) involved the Doctor and Martha minimally.  Brilliant writing.

Another episode, Gridlock was also very good, and fun, while demonstating the positive effects of faith.  And the two-parter, Human Nature and The Family of Blood, gave a chilling example of what war's effects can be, not by being anti-war but by showing how different real war is to the glorification it gets by those not involved directly.

I'm trying to think of any other series that had individual episodes that really stuck.  Nope, not happening.

TOD, Series -

Doctor Who
Torchwood
Ugly Betty
Heroes
Pushing Dasies (which I wasn't expecting to enjoy)
Good Eats
Iron Chef America

This list being short makes up for my episodes list being long.   ;D

Santa is over Australia right now!

Good luck, Tomovoz!  I hope the old man leaves you something wonderful!

Good morning!

Simply gorgeous day outside. Colder this morning than yesterday morning, but still we have a brilliant cloudless blue sky and promises of a wonderful Christmas Eve.

As far as memorable episodes of 2007, that's harder.

The penultimate episode of TORCHWOOD as Captain Jack met his namesake certainly ranks as one of the most poignant episodes I saw in 2007.

I also loved the mix of comedy and pathos with the season one finale of BROTHERS & SISTERS.

Christopher's death episode on THE SOPRANOS was a shocker.

DEXTER's season finale had me on pins and needles for the entire episode.

There were half a dozen LOST episodes that had me riveted including the season finale episode which not only dealt with the death of a major beloved character but also instituted flashforwards into the construction of the episodes that was a major shock!

I agree that UGLY BETTY's season two premiere and HEROES' "Four Months Earlier" were superb episodes in every way.
