Don't forget the big eleven o'clock number when the brief gets caught in the copy machine and the lead sings:

Let My Paper Go!

Oh, I love stop motion animation! That was fun DR Edisaurus.

The Verdi score didn't send you out of the room yelling for Bollywood?

And they all turned into a Central Pastry birthday cake!

Or, as we like to call it around here [!], a "Birthday Happy" cake!   ;)

Change one word in that song title and you could be referring to the other kind of brief!   :o

Nine year contract: (7 year contract....renegotiations adding 2 years) total income for Annette:

$250,000 - including all years on THE MICKEY MOUSE CLUB, ANNETTE the serial, SPIN & MARTY and other serials, all Disney movies including THE HORSEMASTERS, THE SHAGGY DOG, and BABES IN TOYLAND, and all recordings.

$250,000!

Disney got quite a bargain there.

Yes, but he made her a Star!

Didn't Elaine Stritch appear in Bombay Dreams at one point?

Well, some moron on either All That Chat or Broadwayworld.com where the really dim bulbs hang out thinks he/she saw Stritch in the "God Tha's Good!" sequence of the new film. So maybe Elaine is expanding her boundaries.

I think DRs GINNY and EDISAURUS should wear their hair in that style.

Oh, DR JRand, how I tried when I was in high school!

LOS ANGELES — Some gifts from Kris Kringle are better kept wrapped.
A man in a Santa hat was arrested Sunday night for investigation of drunken driving after he was spotted outside Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood wearing a wig, a red lace camisole and a purple G-string, police said.
"We are pretty sure this is not the Santa Claus," Deputy Chief Ken Garner said.
The suspect was booked into jail after his blood-alcohol level measured just above the state's legal limit of .08, police said. He was later released on $5,000 bail.
The man, who is 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 280 pounds, also wore black leg warmers and black shoes. His car was towed to an impound yard, police said.

My mother used to watch "Queen for a Day" and another 50's reality-type show called "Bride and Groom."  Anyone remember that one?

I remember QUEEN FOR A DAY vividly, but I don't remember BRIDE & GROOM.

It really has been a pretty day outside today. When I went out to get the mail, it was cold, but not frigid. And no breeze so the air felt kind of good.

I began my afternoon watching a WILL & GRACE episode from Season 2 while I ate lunch. It was the episode where Jack and Will go to NBC to protest the deletion of a male-male kiss from a sitcom. Some really funny lines and wonderful writing throughout the episode.

Then I watched the first 2 hours of ZODIAC. Obviously, I still have a half hour to go. Several phone calls and some other issues kept interrupting the screening, but I am really enjoying it. The actors are really playing a fascinating series of characters, all so individual.

The film's look is kind of antiqued in those subdued shades of brown. The transfer is very nice.

I ended the afternoon zipping through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. The gay characters weren't on (Luke's parents were), but they did turn up in the previews for tomorrow.

I will definitely be finishing ZODIAC when I go back down, and then will start it again and watch for the first commentary track. (There are two on this edition.) The second disc I'll probably wait and watch tomorrow.

I'm thinking I might like to rewatch HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX tonight depending on what time I can start it. If there isn't enough time to finish it, I will start the second DVD in the ZODIAC set instead and save HARRY for another night.
