Danise, Sherlock feels fine thank you.  We will have to retest to determine if the antibiotics took care of the bacteria problem.  We got the results back from his allergy tests & were surprised to find he is allergic to peas, amongst other things.   Not too many foods, most of which we were not feeding him to begin with, such as corn.

He is highly allergic to Oaks & grasses as well as a slew of other things in the environment.  Oak is a big problem considering there are hundreds, and I mean hundreds, of oak trees outside our home.

I may shop in any U.S. exchange (Navy, Army/AirForce/CoastGuard/Marine Corps) for life.

Nice.  Do you find good bargains & interesting items?

Compared to CostCo...not really!

But then, I am never "near" an exchange facility.  The drive to the closest one is far enough (gas dollar wise) to negate any saving I might enjoy on something.

The commissary is a different story, I think.  If I had a large freezer, I'd shop the commissary...possibly once a month or every other month.

Let's do the time warp again department:

Betsy got an interesting email last night.  They cancelled tomorrow's flight from PDX to Cincinnati to Raleigh.  Instead they booked us from PDX to Cincinnati, arriving at 7 p.m., then departing Cincinnati for Raleigh.  At 6 p.m.  The same day.  Hmmmm.....

So now we're flying to Atlanta.  Oy.

Ben and Ant's computer infected ours--ours refused to start this morning and I've had to go through the new, improved (???) Vista start-up repair process.  Oy.

Conference planning update - a few more YESes, an important MAYBE (if we can come up with some money), and a little extension on the newsletter deadline.

DR Ginny, do you use a project management software package to keep track of all this, or good old-fashioned pencil and paper?

Mostly pencil & paper, DR Singdaw, with a little Word, a little email, etc.  It's for an organization that we're still trying to drag, kicking and screaming, into the 21st century.

Oh, I forgot to mention the 3x5 cards - I'm a librarian, dontcha know.

I talk to friends, I think about you.
And do you know, it's like I'm losing my mind?
