They are large enough to walk into -- actually, you can fit several people into each one.

DR RonP, re: Ghost Whisperer's NED, are you sure that he has not been on this season?

It feels like i've just seen him!

I'm gonna see what the imdb says about his last show.  You might be right. But i swear i just saw him!

Okay now this is odd.

I go to imdb.com and type in Ghost Whisperer.

It shows Tyler Patrick Jones as playing ned from sept 2006 to may 2007. But then it says he did one show "slambook" dec 2007.

That was the episode we saw last week.

Well, I've been locked in the library at closing time again.  Actually, it's almost time for me to go try to figure out what's happening during Evening Prayer (even the seminarians admitted at lunch that it's not easy!).  Wonder what's on for dinner tonight?

The original Ned was played by Tyler Patrick Jones who is now 14 going on 15.

The new Ned is actor Christoph Sanders.

Interesting - IMDB still credits Jones for the "Slambook" episode.

I'm debating taking my novel down to Toyland and sleeping on the floor there tonight.  I'll probably drag out the MBarnum memorial air mattress and sleep in the hallway. Or I could take it with me to Toyland.

Hmmm . . .

DR Jennifer, I personally think you're worrying too much about the actor playing Ned, but since IMDB isn't always reliable, check out this site: http://www.tv.com/

IMDB is wrong; Christoph Sanders is playing Ned now, just as Ron told you earlier.  IMDB is unreliable.

Yes, but if you go to Christoph Sanders' page on IMDB, which doesn't list him as Ned, you'll see in the various postings below mention GHOST WHISPERER.  The cast is correct on tv.com.

Very slow going today - I should have just printed out what I had, Xeroxed it and given it to muse Margaret and taken the day off.  I've written three pages and I think that's going to be about it for today, unless I get a sudden urge to do another page or two.

Well, I disagree with DR S. Woody about the 1962 GYPSY which I consider a classic, but I've defended it enough times here and won't go through it all again.

That's ok, Matt; I"ll take over. I love the film!!!!!

Poor ELmo! Sorry to hear about the pesky bedbugs, yuck! I had read an article last summer about the little critters making a comeback in the US.  They love us -- hitching rides with humans and their stuff. The article I read made the same point as the others mentioned today -- mainly that they love matresses and furniture and books -- but will hitch a ride in luggage when you're traveling. My article said that since we've become so global -- so many of us USAers going abroad all over and abroads from all over coming in here -- the little critters are taking advantage of the free rides and their numbers have exploded -- especially in the bigger cities where you have a lot of tourists/hotels and alot of apartment dwellers. Someone in your apartment building is the culprit -- and it ain't the dog!

Bedbugs Begone Vibes for DR ELmo ... and all his neighbors...and all of NYC!

And THIS is the link[/url] to TV.COM and the recent episode in which the new Ned took over the role of Ned.

Ned has been referenced several times during this season, but this last episode is the first time the character has been seen (to the best of my knowledge) during this season.

DR MissKaren, did you not see my post #155? My apartment building is infested in the B line, meaning apartments 1B, 2B, 3B, etc.  I suspect the extermination is sending them into the C line of the building.

Manmade?  They look like something a bird would fashion.

LOL, Mr. Mini-Me -- I was going to ask the same question -- although I was going to use the word animal instead of bird ... then I saw DR Laura's link about it... then LOL again ...

...guess "art" is indeed in the eye of the beholder -- one man's creation is another's piece of something a bird could fashion .... (and how many pieces of "art" have I thought that about...)

The bed bugs'll getcha
If you don't watch out.
And if they ever getcha
Then you'll sing and shout;
You'll go heigh-dee heigh-dee heigh-dee
Heigh-dee whoa-dee doe-dee doe
That's what love is all about

You can't eat, you can't sleep, you'll go crazy,
You'll just whoa dee doe dee doe all day.
If someone wants to know
Why you're crazy
You'll answer with a heigh-dee heigh heigh
And a whoa-dee doe-day!
Oh! The bed bugs'll getcha if you don't watch out
And if they ever getcha
Then you'll sing and shout:
You'll go heigh-dee heigh-dee heigh-dee
Heigh-dee whoa-dee doe-dee doe

Yes, but me thinks they heard that sweet ELmo was in the building and went looking since they couldn't resist the allure of you and your mattress,  ;) ;) ...

...and ELmo was in the building!  So Bingo!

They are large enough to walk into -- actually, you can fit several people into each one.

They are called, "Childhood Dreams" and are meant  for children to play in and run through and sit and dream in.  They remind me of larger versions fo the tumbleweeds we'd have alll over this desert city (when there was much more vacant land).

And I guess if we want to be politically correct, we can refer to DR Edi's DH as "Oh, Piece of Something a Bird Could Fashion!" instead of "Oh, Crap!" ...

Larry,

Just think of "Our Hearts Were Young and Gay," and ther problmes Emily Kimborough and Cornelia Otis Skinner encountered with bedbugs.  At leas t they were not mutant bugs like yesterday's topic!

You are encountering WAY too many problems where you live (no matter you have such strange dremas).  Have you considered moving (as loathsome a thought that is)?
