Very interesting, DR Singdaw. I got a little taste of that kind of work serving as librarian for the church choir. Bet that orchestra librarian doesn't have to step over bottom-feeders to do her job

TV Reminder:

New episodes tonight of CRIMINAL MINDS (I don't watch it), CSI: NY, LAW & ORDER, and of course, the ever-popular PROJECT RUNWAY.

Also, a new episode of RENO 911! at 10:30. I'll have to record a later broadcast since the DVR will be very busy during the 10 p.m. hour.

I'm actually looking forward to rejoining JAG this afternoon for more episodes. It's an enjoyable procedural. In the last episode, one that involved a stolen submarine, there wasn't a single courtroom scene, so not every episode is court-based.

Oh and tonight there is also a new episode of AMERICAN IDOL.

And following that there is some bizarre new game show (which somehow i think will be popular).

They attach contestants to lie detectors. And they have to answer 21 questions. With the chance to win $500K. But the questions get very personal and disturbing.

But coming on right after IDOL would seem to guarantee it some viewers. I think i will record it because i am slightly curious.

IB stands for Imbibition, which is the form of printing used by Technicolor to yield Technicolor prints - they used the three dyes (yellow, cyan, and magenta) and the prints were passed through three times, I believe (there's technical info in the Internet) - those dyes were not prone to any fading, and were very rich. Intergegs were prone to fading, too, which is why when they use them they have the brown bias and why you have to compensate in the telecine room.

What factors play into your decision on whether or not to take a writing credit on projects that you are involved in, such as the mentoring thing?

Really depends on what I feel about the project, how much I've actually done, how much is completely mine. Not sure what I'm doing on this particular show, but the most I would take is "Additional Music and Lyrics" If I do or don't, I will still have a piece of the show and would get publishing money on the songs that contained material by me, just like Bob Merrill got publishing money on Hello, Dolly.
