Good Afternoon!

-Well, it's already after noon here in New York City.  In any case...

I'm up, I'm up... And I've been up since the morning.  However, since putting my feet on the floor, I've been watching TV, working on some projects, and making some phone calls.  Not a bad day so far.

Good afternoon, all!  This morning I did yesterday's laundry,  secured my storage space at 107th and Columbus Avenue, set up an appointment with the movers to move a ton of crap to the space on Friday morning and ordered 2 4-drawer filing cabinets.  This afternoon I will stop at Bed Bath and Beyond to purchase a mattress cover to securely contain the mattress and seal in any bugs, stop at Staples for another round of storage boxes, head home and continue the discarding and sorting.

I keep telling myself it's all for the good, but today was another shelling out of $600! I hope some work comes in soon so keep those positive vibes heading in my direction! Please!!

I've decided I need to buy a new metal bed frame; I'm not sure I want to keep the old wooden one around. I had a captan's bed, since I needed more drawer space, and I will need a bed frame high enough off the ground to allow me to store tubs to hold my clothing under it.  So, any recommendations on what my new bedframe should be?

Tagged onto the start of National Treasure: Book of Secrets was a Goofy short, How to Hook Up Your Home Theater.  It's new, but very much in the style of the classic Goofy "How To" films.

At one point, there's a quick shot of a mantle, with two framed pictures on it.  Der Brucer spotted the picture of Walt Disney - I'm the one who recognized the caracature next to it as a drawing of John Lassiter!  As if I wasn't laughing hard enough, that almost split my gut!
