George, sorry about the widescreen.  I checked, & even asked, after posting & it was ok on my screen.  Shortly after I couldn’t reconnect for awhile & worried I had done something.  When I returned all seemed fine.  Who fixed it?

I went back and it's still widescreen on my computer, but don't apologize...I don't mind. ;)

Ron, you will be pleased to know I won't be narrating Bryan's flight to NY. ;)  At least not if it has arrived by the time I wake up in the morning.  Jet Blue doesn't arrive until 8:00AM.

The good news is that I don't have a spider bite.

The bad news is that I have MRSA.

The day started out blue and then became gray. Maybe we will have some more rain.

It snowed overnight in western Washington.  It was so sunny and bright this morning that I had to wear my sunglasses while driving to work.  Throughout the day, it became overcast, then it started to rain a bit, then snow, then sunny again, then overcast again then more snow then just overcast and now, it's dark.

:)

It would be embarrassing if he weren't comfortable in the snow. ;D

Thank you.

Lovely Sherlock and snow photo, DR JANE.

Thunderstorms here tomorrow....but then some snow on Thursday, so perhaps Miss Blue Moon will get to play as well.

Revenge films?

There is only ONE - AVENTURERA with Miss Ninon Sevilla.

MR BK if you have not seen it, you must immediately get a copy.

Revenge - murder - adultery - dance numbers - robbery - dance numbers - rape - dance numbers - madams - and banana hats.

Of course Ms. Allison Hayes gets revenge on Mr William Hudson and Ms Yvette Vickers as well in Attack of the 50 Foot Woman.....in fact, she finally got Harry all to herself.

I have been off in another window, writing some purple prose about that conference I've been planning.  My writing won't win any Pulitzer Prizes, but at least it's DONE!

Now, will the newsletter editor be able to open the attachments?

DR TCB - You are very fortunate indeed to have been able to see your own doctor today.  Will you be going in for follow-up visits?

DR Jane - Did you give Bryan my phone number just in case he needs a restaurant recommendation or two?  -And if he's going to be around the Apollo Theater, I can also recommend two real good soul food buffets, and a decent fish-fry shop.  :)

Thank you all for the vibes and good wishes.  I seem to say that a lot lately.  I am feeling very depressed about all of it, which is really silly in the grand scheme of things.  They gave me this booklet to read all about the treatment and the precautions, etc.

It seems that is possible that I may always have it; or, possibly be a carrier.  My doctor and I are going to spend some time at my Thursday appointment discussing everything!

...And I now have a pork shoulder roast sitting in the fridge getting all tasty.  I popped a couple cloves of garlic, a good handful of cilantro, a generous spoonful of kosher salt, a couple grinds of pepper, a good dash of hot red chili flakes, some oregano, and some cumin into my mini-food processor... Pulsed it a few times... Then drizzled in a healthy amount of olive oil while pulsing a few more times....  I scored the pork shoulder... Rubbed the mojo all over, making sure to get into all the nooks and crannies... Put in a big ziploc bag... Poured some fresh squeezed lime and naranja (bitter orange juice) over it... And will let it sit overnight... Possibly two overnights.  Then I just need to pop it in the oven for a couple of hours... And...  :)

I'm just trying to decided if I want to make my own tostones or just buy them from the walk-up counter up the street.  Hmm...

I should try to go to these addresses.  All this standing up and sitting down would be good exercise.
