We have been watching the Noel Coward collection. A friend purchased the set and has loaned us the discs. Some of them are quite wonderful, even the Joan Collins Repertory productions of Tonight at 8:30. She can actually be good when she's not being "Joan Collins"

Today's mail will determine what I watch today. I'm just not ready to dive back into another TV box set (BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Season 3 is next).

On Disney Blu-ray I'm expecting CRIMSON TIDE and BECOMING JANE, both of which come out next week, but Disney is sometimes later than they need to be in getting review copies out.

If those don't in the mail today, I'll probably watch MARTIAN CHILD which came in yesterday. It doesn't get released until February 12th, but I can go ahead and get it out of the way.

Tonight I will watch AMERICAN IDOL, although i'll probably start late so i can ff thru the really bad singers.

I guess BOSTON LEGAL is a repeat.  I will record ONE TREE HILL (which i'm really liking this year) and probably watch last night's PROJECT RUNWAY (i think we're at the 3rd episode of this season).

TOD:

Among those films, I reckon I'll count:

"Fantastic Planet"
"Baghdad Cafe"
"La Strada"

Good morning, all! Another bugless night.   This morning, I did a ton of laundry and then I stopped to pick up the Ster-Fab. This afternoon, I'll begin mopping the floors with it and hopefully kill off anything moping about.

I'm working on my letter to the landlord and the mass panic coming from apartments 3D and 3E about possible bugs is stressing everyone out.  I got home yesterday to a phone call from Jaymie in 3E about calling the landlord for the exterminator to return, and bitching about the piano infesting the building (I swear the only person who saw bugs in the elevator was the lady in 3D since I didn't see any when I vacuumed the elevator immediately after her claims). This morning the man in 2D told me the lady from 3D was down yesterday yelling about him not letting the exterminator in because the poison would kill her cats and he was pissed that I'd told her he had a sofa infested with bedbugs.  It's another witch hunt, I tell you.

Last night I finished watching THE PICKWICK PAPERS, which was a wonderful BBC production filled with 3 hours of silliness and good humor leading to a very emotional and sobering stay in the Fleet Prison before everything reached its happy conclusion.  i've never read the novel, but I thoroughly enjoyed the production and a wonderful cast.

The library where I work just got these in yesterday.  I placed a hold, but it'll be a while before I actually get the DVDs.  It looked very interesting. :)
