Well, you've read the notes, you've inhaled the notes, and now it is time for you to post until the Vick's Cows come home.

Still around:

Ingredients:

Active Ingredient (per inhaler) (Purpose)
Levmetamfetamine 50 mg (Nasal decongestant)

Inactive Ingredients:
Bornyl acetate, camphor, lavender oil, menthol, methyl salicylate

Note:

Levomethamphetamine (other names: l-desoxyephedrine, l-methamphetamine, levmetamfetamine ) is the l- stereoisomer of methamphetamine, a sympathomimetic vasoconstrictor which is the active ingredient used in some over-the-counter nasal decongestants. The common brand-name for levmetamfetamine in the U.S. is the Vicks Inhaler. In the U.S., the name was converted to levmetamfetamine from levo-methamphetamine to lower the risk of abuse of the decongestant preparation.

(Note: my guess is that the "active ingredient" had been added since the 60's)

Super Tuesday:

Mc Cain took Delaware
Mc Cain took California (and current results suggest he swept most of the delegates)

My February work is done.

der Brucer

(Of course if Mc Cain decides to add Huckabee to the ticket I might have to consider moving to Canada!)

(I would hope that in this era of change at the beginning of a new century the Republican Party can come up with a ticket that is not two anglo-saxon men).

A thought:

Linda Lingle - Republican Governor of Hawaii - pro-Choice and Jewish!

(Wouldn't that give Ann Coulter a coronary!)

DR Vixmom - Sorry, I won't be able to make it into NYC this coming Saturday.  Hope you and the Vixter have a grand time at Rent!

Wonder what demographic THE PLAY ABOUT THE NAKED GUY is trying to attract?

Probably nerdy accountants, since it's being done at Baruch College, I think.

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And someone's @!#&@! car alarm kept going off around 5:00am this morning - right across the street.  And it kept going off, and kept going off.  So... I'm up.  :-\

In other news...

Just watching "The Today Show", and I think I'm gonna head in sooner rather than later and grab breakfast downtown.  Just not in the mood to cook this morning.  I also want to warm up before today's dance call, so...

Oh, and it's currently raining here in NYC.  In fact, we're under a flood watch until sometime this afternoon.  And I've already a bit a thunder this morning too.

-Boy, I hope it's not going to be one of those days.

Hopefully, today's audition session will end a little ahead of schedule; it will be nice to have a little longer break before I head to the final dress of Applause tonight at City Center.  And then I will have to race back here, and get packed for my trip to Memphis tomorrow morning.  Fun, Fun, Fun!

Yes, those pliées can be a drag when you're not properly warmed up...   ;)

Out of curiosity, DR JoseSPiano - do you find playing dance auditions to be easier or harder than singing auditions?  Or just different?

I had to buy a Vicks Inhaler for my father last month.  They cost almost six dollars.

It is very rainy here - still yet.

On Monday, my 22 year old neighbor Evan was in an auto accident.  He is an EMT and they were returning from driving a patient to the hospital.  An SUV crossed the center line and hit the ambulance head on.  Both drivers were killed.  Evan is usually the driver, but his Chief took the wheel for some reason for this trek....

Very sad.

How horrible, DR JRand57!  Do you know Evan's prognosis?

***RECOVERY VIBES*** to Evan, and ***COPING VIBES*** to his family and the families of the two victims.

Good morning, all!

DR JRand57, I am so sorry to hear about your neighbor.  Is he is hospital?

DR Jose, break a leg today.  Remember: if you couldn't have done the job, they would have asked someone else; there's always someone in this City who thinks they can do it better than you. In most cases, they're misinformed.

I'm waiting for 9 am to call my barber to see if I can get myself shorn this morning.  Then, a trek to Toyland to pick up a few "Lady of the Slipper" scores, and after that, a meeting with my attorney to sign the new will.

I need some money: I need to buy a new box springs for the bed, another filing cabinet, and a couple of pillows.  I hope my last invoice gets paid today.  I'm waiting for the Karen Mason job to move into first gear, and I wish the cabaret singer who sent me the email two weeks ago about owing me a third of her bill would simply put the damned check into the post.

I love my new storage tubs and I'm looking forward to the new bed frame; I want to put it together and move it about the apartment till the apartment's geography seems logical.

Thank you.  I've got my barber appointment set for noon, and then the attorney at one. I guess it's time to head for Toyland.

Interesting article from Michael Riedel about

Randy Quaid

Seems he has been disciplined for his behavior during the out-of-town tryout of Lone Star Love (which closed in Seattle). Looks like the entire cast found his behavior "less than professional"

Wednesday morning greetings!  Still rainy here, too, but imagine what a mess it would be if it were colder.

Vibes to DR JRAnd's neighbor Evan.
