Good luck. I had to deal with them after Christmas. There seems to be a great deal of disorganization in their customer service.

So now they are going to send a technician and if the new cord works he won't replace the motherboard and if it doesn't he will replace the motherboard. Oh bother. I should just spend the $65 and get a new cord.  Between JRand's spoiler and this stupid phone call, I'm not enjoying the dog show at all

I just backed up my computer last night, but if they have to replace the motherboard, I'm going to have to reinstall everything.  I really don't want to do that. All the programs are working fine...oh bother

I am back on hold ....it's been almost another 10 minutes. How long does it take to write down...."Take power cord and mother board to her house after calling to set up appointment"?

I hung up.  He had all my contact info. I just got an email from the first guy who I was disconnected from. Why does it have to be so hard to get a simple power cord?

She didn't make it to the show tonight, but her dog won best of opposite sex. I didn't even know there was such an award for the best of opposite sex of the winner of the breed.

Think I'll watch the show again. It's on again later tonight.  3 more groups tomorrow night and best in show.  Too much fun!

We've had 3.6 inches of snow so far tonight.  I'm supposed to drive to several jails outside of town tomorrow. Hmmm

Ok, I'm a happy camper again. Sorry for sharing the stress of the service call. I just HATE having to do that. But my laptop is still under warranty so I do it.

Alright Dr Laura, I need an explanation of this one.  I understand the first part, but I got lost from the milkshake on!

"If they ever figure out how to bring people back from the dead, the first one should be Ira Gershwin. Have you heard what they're writing today? 'My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard;' 'I'm hot cause I'm fly; you ain't cause you not."

Exciting email DR TCB!!!  The one I got today revealed that Miss Tammy Tyree x 3 is on her way to my house.

My TAMMY collection has also shipped today. Sadly, I didn't get the Lana set which I was expecting today.

I finished the DVD set of GIRLFRIENDS. The last two half hour episodes concerning the wedding of one of the characters were the two most uncomfortable, unpleasant shows I've ever endured on television.  Was I ever glad when I got to the end of that last episode!

The bonus feature on the last disc in the set ironically was the producer and director of those wedding episodes bragging about how great they thought they were, how bold they thought they had been for a comedy series. Poor deluded fools thinking their work was important just because it was bitching and sniping from one character to another for an hour.

I am not a fan of confrontational comedy.

THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES had a good episode tonight. Brian Austin Green joined the cast as John's uncle, and it was a good introduction for him.

Next, I watched OLD CHRISTINE where she contemplates having plastic surgery since she's dating a man so much hotter and more desirable than she is. Silly premise but there were some laughs along the way

And the chocolate-covered grapes?

Alas, no chocolate-covered grapes at the airport kiosks.  Ah, well.  I think I'm going to call them tomorrow to see if they're doing mail order on them - or their chocolate covered strawberries raspberries.  I know they recently got Kosher certification - would that have anything to do with not carrying them anymore?

Oh good grief, they want to send a new motherboard and a technician to replace it just in case a new cord doesn't work. I'm trying to convince them that I'm willing to just get a new cord and if that doesn't work I'll call back. I do not want to fix the parts of the computer that aren't broken!!!

DR Cillaliz - Go to E-Bay. Do a search for your computer model and power cord. Then pay the $10 for it.  :)

*That's what I did for my Compaq - so much quicker and cheaper than dealing with their customer service.
