Last night, der Brucer wrote:

The local cat society has very strict rules:

No placement in homes with out fenced yards.
No placement with apartment dwellers.
No placement with renters without a signed consent form from the landlord.

I understand the first one (so other animals, like dogs, and unruly children) cannot get to a cat who has gone inside the fence for safety.  Make no mistake:  The fence will not keep a cat in a yard.

The second one is not a good rule, IMO.  Many folks live in apartments and could provide excellent, safe environments for cats.

The third rule, of course, is mandatory.  The landlord must always give approval (and exact a $$$ deposit, if he or she desires) if a pet is to live in a home.

LOL-You beat me to the post.

Our cats were very happy in apartments.  We had plenty of toys, climbing apparatus, free run of the place, and most important of all-loads of love and attention.

I would rather JJ be an indoor cat in an apartment than an outdoor cat with a fence.  I will say, I never had a cat that jumped our fence-many don't.  I wouldn't trust that to be a given & a nasty cat can still get into the yard and attack your cat.

MADE!

My point being that I'm GOING to talk about "Lost" but that I'll take extra precautions to help anyone unable to RESIST reading the Spoilers they say they still manage to read.

I can do so much....the rest is up to those who don't wish to know more.

 ;D

I don't watch LOST anymore so I went ahead and attempted to read the spoiler.  Note I said attempted.  I now have a headache and eyestrain. ;D

I haven't gotten that far yet.

But you can bet your bottom, and your dollar as well, that it'll be geared towards everything that's around Disneyland and all the convention and tourist stuff that has sprung up around said tourist trap.

JJ certainly didn't have any problems with climbing fences.  There's no other way he could have gotten into our yard, unless someone threw him over, and there's no access to the doggie door other than via the fenced-in yard.

The ideal would be to break all that text into small paragaphs and let some air in there so your eyes can BREATHE.

But doing that, I reckon, makes it easier for straying eyes to glom onto something they don't want to see as they slowly skim past pretendingtrying not to look.  ;)

Jane, drop it.  NOW!

I know you've had the "very best of intentions", but this continued questioning about what the rescue group did or didn't do and constant second-guessing of what der Brucer and I had to choose to do has been like rubbing salt into an open wound.  You caused me a great deal of anguish last night, and I am still royally pissed off with you.

Giving up JJ was not easy for me.  Fostering any animal and then giving that animal to someone else to care for is not easy.

You are causing a great deal more hurt than you can imagine.

So BACK OFF!

I have a lot of problems with my eyes, focusing is one of them.  I find it much easier to quickly scroll past the text under a spoiler than to separate for reading. ;D

I realize if more than one show is listed I often scroll over more than I want to, but heck-I would rather miss a post or two than read more than I want.

I figure no one is combining important personal information along with info on shows.  If I'm wrong and miss something, another poster will likely comment and show me the error of my ways. ;)

Sorry, I'll back off.  And I know your intentions are only for the good.  And I am not doubting your decisions at all-really.

Sometimes I'm too curious for my own good & I am interested in what they were doing, or the kinds of questions they ask.  I tried to volunteer with local cat groups here but my allergies were so severe, dangerously so, I couldn't.

After viewing DR RLP's link for the PR fashion shows, I agree with his analysis about who out-designed who....the two dropped designers outdid a couple of the those showing for real.

The irritating Ugly Bug had the worst collection....I HATE THOSE jackets with little peplums.....why is he trying to bring those back?

Because he declares them to be F I E R C E!

It's a concert version of MUSIC MAN in Hartford, and I thought it was a staged production.

I still want to see it, just to hear Jason Graae sing SHIPOOPI!

Another Lost Mystery:  Has anyone else noticed that Harold Perrineau has been in the credits again this season, but I have yet to see him.

I'm struggling with a lyric I'm rewriting for the musical I'm mentoring.  I fixed the music, but the lyric is being obstinate, because it's difficult to find the author's point of view on this one - I'm finding the point, but it's slow going.
