Xldldfkeoeprpdirotodowokdjgjkelkja;lkjadfkjqrafdpoiuadfop iuadfpoiausd fpoiudfpasoidf upoiasudfpoais ufp o iasu dfpoas idfuapso dif uasp odifus. I'm not sure why you've jumped to this conclusion. Daniel has not, repeat NOT, had any episodes in which he jumped back and forth in time. That particular note in his notebook was not there when he was looking at it while he was on the phone with Desmond (who was on the ship). After Desmond, who jumped back to 1996, followed Daniel's instructions, Daniel (in present time) found a note he wrote to himself about Desmond "for the future." This was quite interesting in itself, because it gave Daniel proof that Desmond had managed to change "time". The note was also very useful to Daniel, because it proved his theory to be right and because IF Daniel has an episode, he knows to turn to Desmond as his "constant"...the possible "cure" to the afflicted...having some "thing" or someone in both time periods to latch onto. this was re: my conclusion of what we saw in the last scene with daniel's book saying "if i get into trouble then desmond is my constant" (or something to that effect).
Well i suppose all we know for sure is that daniel would use desmond the same way that desmond used penny. However i don't think i'm the only one who believes that daniel is a bit off his rocker (and wasn't he being cared for by a nurse or something in the first episode we saw him in)(i don't really remember this but that is what i read).
And i don't think i'm the only one who thinks that daniel has timetravelled and that he's using desmond as his constant. I know the writing wasn't in his book before. But there has to be more to it than simply showing us the writing. To me it meant that daniel was going to try to timetravel. and he wrote that in his book so he'd know it. If he wasn't having these problems (like desmond and the other guy who died) or if he wasn't intentionally timetravelling. Then why write it? I can't believe that they would show us that simply in case daniel had a problem in the future.
So you really believe that daniel had never had any "episodes" because the note was not there when he and desmond were talking on the phone.
I don't know maybe that him telling desmond to contact him changed things. Because after i wrote what i wrote i went and read some of the posts on televisionwithoutpity (about last night's show). and more than one person thought the same thing i did. That after desmond in 1996 found daniel, that daniel then timetravelled.
