We are watching tonight's American Idol. I can't wait to see the stripper guy. He's now one of my favorites.

My face  and lips and gums and arm and back and knee have healed from my unseemly and sudden kissing of the asphalt.

The building mangement have taken steps to protect others from my fate by re-asphalting around the manhole cover that stood about an inch  above the ground surface

I was fortunate that I didn't lose any teeth or suffer any long lasting effects (other than to my pride)

I had my callbacks tonight. Everyone there was super nice and friendly - genuinely so. There were some really great people, but nobody who was either perfect for Adelaide or perfect for Sarah. It will be interesting to see who gets cast. I would be happy just being a hot box dancer- because, you know, cute costumes.

DR Jennifer - regarding the pillow.  Do you mind reporting if you generally sleep on your side, on your stomach, or on your back?  Thanks!

I usually sleep on my back or side. I've tried the pillow with both of these positions and it was good.

However i've seen them do demos for people that sleep on their stomach. It is supposed to be really good for that too.

AMERICAN IDOL SPOILER TALK I GUESS

*

As for tonight's "American Idol", well, no true stinkers, a couple of goods, and maybe one or two pretty goods.  However, there is still one contestant that doesn't appeal to me at all whom the judges keep praising to the high heavens.  -I'm guessing he sounds better in the studio than on TV.

I'm curious who you mean. Is it 17 year old David A?

I really cannot get into any of the guys. Although I sort of agree with simon (that the kid will go far in this comp).

I totally agree with simon on the aussie. I loved him in auditions. And i think he could be great. But he has yet to wow me during the live shows.

I thought the stripper guy was okay. And i think the publicity will help him for now stay in the comp longer.

The most interesting performance for me was david cook.

DR Jennifer - I don't get Jason Castro's appeal.  -And if even appeared that he laughed at himself during the closing moments of his song tonight.

The key to people getting booted off IDOL for "moral" reasons or not is directly affected by how open and honest they were in their declarations to the producers about their pasts. Frenchy Davis and one of the black twins from several years ago (the one George Huff replaced right before the finals started) who had been arrested for robbery didn't divulge their pasts when asked. Others who have posed nude or had other scandals were open about it to the producers when they were advanced into the 24, and they have been allowed to compete.

Well, funny you should ask... I realized that I hadn't checked where I will be staying this year.  Normally, they put me up in the main convention hotel so that I have easy access to the audition room.  Well, I just checked my itinerary, and it turns out I will be staying at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Holiday Inn.  -I wonder if I'll get one of the converted train car rooms? ;)

-Alas, it's a 15 minute walk to the Convention Center - or a short shuttle ride, so... :-\
