And on that note - G-flat - I believe I shall get ready for bed.  'Tis been a long day.

Goodnight.

I'm heading down, too. No writing to do tonight, so I can get to bed earlier. DST doesn't sit well with my constitution either, so I'm ready to go to sleep.

Good night!

Back from the delightful TAKE ME ALONG this afternoon, then dinner with Bill Parry and Maureen Silliman and two friends of theirs, the husband happening to be someone who graduated in my law school graduating class.  Very small world.

Wish I'd been taken along.  I grew up on a diet of Bob Merrill tunes. They didn't hinder Al Cernik's career.

Today's rehearsal was almost seven hours long!!  Most of us were called at 1:00 pm, but several of the girls (not just the twins) had to be there at noon.  We had a costume parade that took almost all of the first three hours.  I basically have three costumes.  A general guy costume...pants, black shoes and a shirt for the top of the show and the ends of each act.  My Dolly Dimples outfit is something else!  I'll have to take a picture when it's all finished.  It's like a strapless flapper dress with fringe on the bottom that has been turned into a top for me.  And yes, I have to shave my upper torso and arms...my chest AND my back!! :P :P :P :P They WON'T let me have some kind of cover for my arms and back. :P I say.  The shorts are sweatpants-type shorts with lace added to the bottom.  And then I have a pull-over costume for the New Year's Eve party scene in the second act.  And that's it.  The best part is that I have a lot of time in between each change. :)

Jose, on one of these trips you really must hire Gudda, my Egyptian driver. You won't be sorry.

The time change doesn't make much difference to my system, but I do resent losing an hour off my weekend!

Rod brought over another shelving unit while I was out running some errands. It's a wonderful unit, but way to big. I have no place that it would fit.

Then, around 9:30 pm he brought me a plate of brownies! What nice neighbors I am losing!

All I can say is that the new neighbors will have big shoes to fill...actually, literally...Rod does wear darn big shoes, I noticed.

I'm here.  I watched last week's "Medium" and now I'm watching last week's "Boston Legal."

Otherwise, the rehearsal today went well.  I think that tomorrow, we get the whole band.  That's gonna make a big change.
