THE RHYMING NOTES
« on: March 11, 2008, 12:56:58 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were rhyme-filled and fancy free, and now it is time for you to post until the rhyming cows come home - how now, brown cow?

I guess I shall toddle off to the bedroom environment where there is a bed waiting for me.

Gear up for a few surprises around the time of a Moon-Uranus 60-degree connection (4:21PM PDT).

Just in time for Final Jeopardy on the East Coast.

In light of the Spitzer scandal, an old pun:

There were these islanders who worshiped ever-living dolphins and
hoped they would be conferred immortality by sacrificing seagulls to
them. They ran out of birds on that side of the island, though, so
they went to the other side of the island to get some more.

Coming back, they found the way blocked by two regal lions who were
sound asleep. Knowing the dolphins were waiting for the sacrifice,
they tiptoed up and stepped over the lions, whereupon they were
immediately arrested and charged with transporting gulls over
stately lions for immortal porpoises.

TOD:  Well, I'll admit it.  Once, in my remote youth, I had a real-life "Barcelona" moment.  :-[

It was not my current DH - long before I ever met him.  And I was mortified.      :P

Good morning, all! I had a weird dream last night about the Toyland project  which included a pleasant visit in a library with the man supporting it, followed by a lot of us on the project and the gentleman's family splashing and boating about in an enormous pool of water.

This morning, more work on Toyland and Cinderella,  this afternoon,  a bit of bug control.

My biggest faux pas concerns Ethan Mordden, Rebecca Luker, Harold Rome, Dorothy Rodgers and me at a performance of the Equity Library Theatre production of WISH YOU WERE HERE, and I'm saving it for the memoirs.

As for the Topic of the Day...

Hmm... I know I've embarrassed myself every now and then, but, truly, no particular incident comes to mind right now.  However, I do know that I have a habit of over-thinking and over-emphasizing some of the small professional faux pas(s) that I've made in my career - which usually involves not remembering what a staff member's name was, or making a comment in the room when I should have made it out of the room.  No harm, no foul in the long run - or short run - but, boy, does my mind have a tendency to race!
