While i liked the show I will say i was a bit disappointed in the ending. I don't think it was as good as previous shows.

I thought the flashbacks with michael were quite good. It was very interesting to find out that he and walt returned home yet nobody knew it (so walt is not one of the oceanic 6). But i was expecting more of the ending. They kept saying someone would die. And they showed all our favorites. Yet the "people" who died (assuming they both did) were not people i really care about I mean it was sad and all. But it would have been more interesting if they had shown ben (or somebody) as the shooter.

We get around the bagging problem by having the checkers doing the bagging at the same time as they check.  Most of our baggers are still in high school, and only available on weekends.

Every once in a while, a customer goes to where the bagger would normally be working, and then is astounded when I start bagging.  Apparently, in some areas (like New Jersey), the customers are expected to bag.  I can't see it, myself - bagging is a courtesy, and we are always courteous to our customers.

Of course, there are some cutomers we know well enough to tease a bit, but that's different.   ;D

The first time I went to a market that had a "bag it yourself" checkout was in New Jersey at the Pathmark.  It was also the first super-sized market I ever went to.  When we went shopping there it could take hours. ;D

I like where there is a bagger at the checkout as it usually goes faster.  Our discount market has a bag it yourself policy.  The prices are better so we often shop there even though we don't care for the store.

DR  Ginny, I had my hair cut this afternoon too!  And I made an appointment for an eye exam tomorrow night at Pearle. They are doing buy one get one free on glasses. I figure it's a good chance to get glasses and prescription sunglasses.

BOOKS:

Cooking Under Wraps, by Nicole Routhier.  All about wrapping foods in other things, like filo or grape leaves or whatever, and then cooking it.  Interesting, but I'm getting sick and tired of her penchant for adding raisins to stuff "for a little sweetness," especially when none is needed.

The Food Snob's Dictionary, by David Kamp.  Self-explanitory.
