...I noticed Dolly Parton is the guest mentor next week. Does that mean a country week?
Either that, or all the girls will be showing lots of cleavage.

How will the guys compete!!!   ;D

TOD:

Doritos, especially the Blazin' Hickory Barbecue flavor which seems to be THE favorite flavor around my neighborhood because they're rarely in stock. And Doritos are a Buy-One-Get-One sale item this week, so if they ARE in stock, I WILL stock up.

Favorite fast food/junk food place is Burger King but I rarely go there because there isn't one close to my house. Taco Bell is closest and is my second favorite.

I'd second Taco Bell!

Speaking of the TOD department:  did anyone else see the wire service report this morning that having a big belly statistically means you'll develop dementia later in life?  I believe that means in about 10 years or so HHW will be even more incomprehensible than it is already.  If that's possible.   ;D

Some of us are constantly at work on reducing our bellies. It's certainly an ongoing struggle with me. I suspect it will be for the rest of my life. I just like to eat too much.

Don't get me wrong, MattH--I will be at the head of the line, dementially speaking.  Statistically, anyway.  :)

My DH kindly taped that article to the bathroom mirror for me to find this morning as a little matutinal surprise.

He's so thoughtful that way.     ::)

I've been listening to a lot of J.S. Bach in my car lately, and now I have an unending stream of 16th notes racing through my brain!

Now that the family has left, I need to work on the April newsletter and get back to the reading project I'm working on.

I found this great publicity photo from 1903: it's William Norris, the star of BABES IN TOYLAND, dressed for Act 2.  This is a publicity shot from early June 1903, and it's an assembled costume.  His costume for "The March of The Toys" was actually more peculiar!

Norris, was 33 or so when he played Alan in BABES; he also starred with Peggy Wood in Sigmund Romberg's MAYTIME. His last show was the 1927 Rodgers & Hart CONNECTICUT YANKEE, in which he played Merlin.  He died around 1930.

Favorite junk foods.

TOTD:

Hmmmm.

Cheetos are a bit of a guilty pleasure.

The "Puffs," not the crispy ones.

When we are traveling we treat ourselves to Cheetos, the crispy ones-never the "Puffs"

TOD- Kit Kats and instant Ramen Soups. I used to love the Nestle Tollhouse frozen chocolate chip cookie ice-cream sandwiches, but have weaned myself off of them.

I have taken today off from work so as to accommodate the repairman when he shows up between 8 am and 5pm to install the new timer on my washing machine.

I really don't eat that much junk food at all -

What!  :o

Quote
and I'm restricting "junk food" to the pre-packaged, high fat, high sodium, high sugar stuff in the stores, not the stuff that is baked in a bakery or that I bake myself.  -Levain's Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies are most certainly not "junk".

;D  I'm glad you clarified your first statement  ;)
