Well, you've read the notes, the notes were like egg rolls, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently looking for Mr. Goldstone and his egg rolls.

Well, the recital last night in New Haven was excellent.  My friend sang in German, Russian, and French.

My tired eyes are blury...I read "recital" as "rectal" - gave a whole new meaning to your evening's experience.

Good morning, all! My alarm rang at 6:30, and I moving.  Slowly, but I'm moving.  This morning at some point after 8:30 I have workmen arriving to repair and plaster a crumbling wall. I have no idea how long their work will take or what kind of a mess I'll be cleaning up after they leave, so my errands are a bit cramped today.

I hope to get some notes written on THE LADY OF THE SLIPPER abd it would be nice to finish up the FANTASTICKS  job today as well.  We'll see.

DR cillaliz, I'm getting old: the one show I want to see is SOUTH PACIFIC!

Larry - Don't you know anyone in SOUTH PACIFIC who could get you a house seat?  :)

(BTW, Skip saw SOUTH PACIFIC last week and absolutely loved it!  But decent seats seem very hard to come by.)

Re the word of the day:  I don't believe it no Zina-phobia.  I'm a Zina-phile, which means adoration of Zina Goldrich and Marcy Heisler.

Even if they do charge almost $40 for their songbook, which seems to annoy some people on another chat board.  :)

I've been checking online for SOUTH PACIFIC and there seem to be seats in the 100's and 500's (the side sections) and in the dreaded :)  Beaumont loge, almost nothing in the center sections 200's, 300's and 400's until June.  Based on what I've heard form Skip and many others, after the show opens and the reviews come out, seats are bound to be even more scarce.  I see on broadwaybox (which I gather is legal scalping), even indecent seats are going at outrageous prices.  Who would have imagined this for SOUTH PACIFIC?  (How great for Danny Burstein, going from one success right into another!)

Hmm... Well, I just double-checked the locations for the auditions I'm playing today, tomorrow and Wednesday.  It seems that my e-mail confirmation from the office says I'm at one place tomorrow and Wednesday, while the official casting notice from Equity says something else.  Hmm... ???

Or is your smiley winking?

That is the question.

I am going to hear Chanticleer in concert tomorrow evening.  My mom and her sister are driving up for the concert; I'm taking the day off from work and we're going to be ladies about town.

In our break room at the office, a stack of CDs appeared, with the sign, "FREE TO A GOOD HOME."

In the stack were two Barbra Streisand releases, "Higher Ground" and "A Love Like Ours."

So if any DR wants 'em, PM me your mailing address and they're yours!     :)
