Apparently our very own Miss Jessica Rush went on last night in Gypsy.  She stands by for Miss Laura Benanti.  We all knew she'd get to go on at some point, and it was just sooner than later.  She's also doing this evening and Thursday.  I had friends who saw her and said she was an excellent Louise.  So, if anyone is seeing the show this evening or tomorrow, wait for her at the stage door and send her our love.

Speaking of "layers", where in heck did stringcraw get off to?

I don't know what, exactly, you are implying, but I'm going to interpret that as a compliment!  ;D

[quote author=DERBRUCER

Johnston died Monday afternoon of natural causes at a long-term care facility in Sequim, Wash., according to a news release from Howard E. Green, vice president of studio communications for Walt Disney Studios.

Quote

Howard Greene is going to be working on the Johnny Mercer documentary with the LA director. He is a big Mercer fan and has been collecting video and film clips for decades. I have to do one cut-down of the Mercer demo I keep updating, and then that will be it for me on this project. I'm sad I won't be able to work on it further, but the LA director has his regular editor, so...

Greg may continue to work on it, at least the east coast stuff. He will be interviewing JM's niece next month, and hopefully his son, if they are able to schedule it.

This is the first time since announcing Evening Primrose that there were no orders in the morning.  Hopefully that will change during the day.

No response from The Sondheim Review to my email of several days ago.  They will rue the day.  Rue it, I tell you!

DR Edisaurus - that's awful!  Can you get a locking mailbox?

We do have a neighborhood patrol, and most people mail bills from an official post office box at the end of the streetm, or at least don't put their flags up, so it's less than it used to be. Car break-ins are the main problem, because many people have to park on the street. We're especially concious of telling visitors not to leave anything tempting in their car.

That was quite an entertaining summary, DR Ron Pulliam.  Thanks for your effort.  :)

I would be remiss if I did not mention it is DS Betsy's and my 14th Anniversary today.

Congratulations, JMK! It will be our 14th next month!

To celebrate, I will post positive feedback on your ebay site!

I think I need a copy, DR MBARNUM.

I think you do too! LOL! And one will be whisking it's way to Indiana in the near future, I suspect!

Our friend's daughter has a Dalmatian that is a bit food aggressive.  With a young daughter, a couple of cats & a new puppy, they decided to send him to a special dog trainer to work on  the problem.

The trainer left the garage door open & the dog has been missing for three days.  You can imagine how upset the family is.

Vibes Fletcher finds his way home!

And since they didn't bother to send out an e-mail to their readers, I may just not send CDs to the three "critics" who asked for review copies.

Keith agrees with Matt & elmore.  I don't see how she can't be attracted to Joe, but I'm thinking more a power play for taking Joe's ideas in a different direction than his vision.

We all agree, hopefully it doesn't turn into the bad soap opera.

Thank you Singdaw.  Keith corrected me, Fletcher is a beagle, not a dalmatian.  The big old dog might be part dalmatian, I'll have to ask again.  The puppy is a Jack Russell Terrier.

Please remind me where I stopped using "Spoiler" regarding TV shows and their plots.

I try very hard to warn folks.

Maybe I'll go bang on the piano for a while.  That is, after Lalo Schifrin's Sudden Impact finishes playing.

Ask BK:   I know it has been a number of years, but I am wondering if you would mind telling us where you were, and what it was like, when the Northridge Earthquake struck LA in 1994.
