Hello, everyone.

It's a lovely day here--lots of rain lately, so we appreciate the sunny days more.

*****INVITATION*********

Can we generate some interest in a mini-HHW-get-together at our place on Saturday night May 3, say 5:30 to 7:30?  Skip would love to cook, and it seems like a perfect time, with Cilla in town.

Golly, I've just caught up with last night's posts.

I'm so totally glad I wasn't around when the $2 bills hit the fan.

If I lived in Delaware, I think I'd visit DR S. Woody's store and pay him in pennies!

Last night's "American Idol" was a bit dull, IMO.  I didn't like ANY of the songs, to be honest.

Of the vocals, I concur that Jason and Brooke were, by FAR, the weakest.

Undoubtedly, though, someone better than either of them will go home tonight.

She has some 'splainin' to do!

I hope she's off making gobs of money.

The lovely DR edisaurus has been busy; I spoke to her on the phone last Sasturday and she sends one and all her affection and regrets that's she's away.

DR MattH, I think you said something about the team being eliminated not being surprised.
The thing is there are only 5 teams left now (6 before last night's show). So really most teams would not be surprised. However the reason that shannon elizabeth (who got eliminated) was not surprised (even though she had never been in the bottom 2) was because they had already declared everybody else safe. And it as just between her and Jason (the football player who got the highest scores of the night). She knew he got the best scores on monday, plus he is very popular with fans. So i think she knew (and it was fairly obvious) that she was going to be in the bottom 2 (if it was between her and jason).

RE: IDOL, I also thought it was quite dull. And i am done with jason castro.  But i still really like brooke. AND while i agree she seemed nervous in song 1. I liked her song 2. I love it when she plays piano. And i agree with paula. I find that she taps into her vulnerability really well. She makes me like her.

I liked david cook's 2nd song. And david a's second song.

I would suspect it has to be syesha, jason or brooke going. I mean for sure it's not one of the davids.
