I'm too tired to do a page 10 dance.

Time for me to leave work.  I'm sure we'll get a wonderful report from BK when he returns! :D

Have a good evening, all!

Had a full night of viewing.

I began with last night's BOSTON LEGAL. DR Elmore's favorite Christine Ebersole was on; naturally Denny Crane (Shatner) was hot for her.

Shelley Berman and Henry Gibosn played dotty old judges in the two cases that were part of the show last night.

CSI: NY had a very good case about the murder of a high school guidance counselor. Nifty surprise ending (though CSI: MIAMI did a similar case a few years ago).

Next I watched an episode of PSYCH from the last disc in the first season set. I didn't remember much about this episode at all, one where Shawn and Gus become legal consultants for a young lawyer lacking confidence trying to get his client off from a murder charge of killing a TV weatherman.

UGLY BETTY had some good and not so good in the episode this week.

Can't believe after all this time that Daniel would have even the slightest bit of doubt about what Betty's feelings tryly are about him. In fact, I think they talked about it during season 1.

I liked GREY'S ANATOMY tonight.

Clearly we see what's going on in the Hahn/Callie situation. Sorry to see my beloved Jason O'Mara not make it. Glad to see Izzie finally moving on toward something like a real life and career. I loved what Addison said to Meredith at the end.

MY NAME IS EARL had an okay episode with Joy giving culture another quip:
"Dip Van Winkle."

And THE OFFICE was not as strong as last week, but still okay....with a sharp appearance by Ryan that could lead to problems.  And of course Pam's eyeglasses and Phyllis's remarks were very funny.

I thought about watching LOST, but decided to switch to TVLAND where Lucy and Ricky were doing a television show for Phipps Department Store, and then Lucy was doing a tango with Raggedy Ricky for the MGM brass.

Also watched STEP IT UP AND DANCE for the first time....saw the building that DR JOSE talks about quite often here and in his blog....and was completely satisfied with the person they sent home tonight, even though I had only spent about 30 television minutes with him.

I flipped over during commercials to watch some of QUO VADIS on TCM tonight. I can see what they were saying about the film needing major work before coming to DVD. A very hissy audio track and lots of colored specks/dirt in the version on display tonight.

good evening from NYC!!  We got to our hotel about 6:00 and immediately ran down to the cocktail party that was included in our fee for the seminar. It was at the New York Lawyer's Club on Vesey Street. After a number of free adult beverages, my artist friend, Trevor Goring and I took off looking for a place to eat. It was raining but we didn't care. We wound up at the Lafayette Bar and Grill (I don't think I spelled that right) they were having a grand opening for their new Salsa music nights complete with live music and a salsa dance company.  It was wonderful.  We had a great time.  We left there and got caught in a downpour so even though it wasn't far, we cabbed back to the hotel

Pam had a few too many glasses of wine and chose not to join us. She missed a good time

The view from our room is incredible!! We're on the 33rd floor looking out over the Hudson. The view of the Statue of Liberty is blocked, but you can see Ellis Island and the Jersey Shore.   There is a lighted neon clock directly across the river from us, does anyone know what that is?

Ben I'll call you tomorrow...

Tomorrow night, I will be ushering at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts for their CenterFest celebration...it's their annual fund raiser where they bring a big act for one night.

In the past, they've had  such performers as Natalie Cole, Bernadette Peters (my niece and I got to meet her and get her autograph!), Gregory Hines (about six months before he died), Naomi Judd, and many others.

We (the ushers and concessionaires) have been told that the show will be 110 minutes without an intermission and I don't doubt that it'll be very good...and completely sold out.  These always are.

I'm supposed to be there by 5:30 pm, but I think I'll need to get downtown by 5:00, just to get a good parking place...there is not a lot of parking available downtown.
