I did do a little trading at Amoeba and so finally got some new DVDs, including a couple I'll try to watch this evening.

I've finished the writing and got it posted, so I'm heading down now to watch last night's CSI: NY. After that, we'll see what I can find to watch.

I'm basically going to skip any televiewing tonight, save (maybe) Ugly Betty.  I have to be at work at six in the morn tomorrow, and if I'm going to be up and awake by that time, I'll need to get to bed early.

And, as if things weren't insane enough, they're predicting thunderstorms for the morrow.  It figures.   ::)

Sleep well and have a great tomorrow.

Our local PBS station is showing Camelot tonight. Too bad our television picture is so bad.

I'm going to record it on Saturday morning here...I am taking a list. :)

Would you like your name to be added to it? ;)

Hi all!  Well, it was back to Earth day.  Sigh.   :D

I'm waiting for Mr. Cable Man to show up.  My DVR is not DVRing.  In fact, as of right now, I have no TV at all.

It's been acting up for awhile now and I think I need a new one.  I sure do hope Mr. Cable Man has one in his truck.

I've been very happy with the switch from DirectTV to Brighthouse.  At least I did have a picture when a cloud when overhead.  I keep getting notices from DirectTV trying to get me to come back.  I don't think so--at least not unless Mr. Cable Man can't fix the DVR.

In case you are wondering, I'm also having trouble with Photo Bucket--which is why my picture is gone.  I can't get it to upload anything, I keep getting an error message.

Hi Danise.  I was wondering why the strange message where your photo should be.

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR DVR!

Thanks for the offer George.  I have Camelot set to record.  Keith says we now get HiDef PBS.  I don't think so, I'll find out for sure tonight

Thanks, Jane.  I'm guessing that it isn't sending the image to HHW either because a bunch of them are gone from the site as well.

How about putting back the old image, that is saved at HHW, with you singing?  The one you decorated for every holiday.  That was fun.

I can't burn the hi-def version to DVD with it looking like hi-def, but I can record it on my regular DVR and make a regular DVD that looks better than a VHS copy.

DR George, not that I'm interested in a DVD, just curious.  Since the HD is a better picture than non HD. I would think your copy would still be a better quality than if recorded off of non HD.  Are you saying that isn't so?

I think I'm about through with work for the day, and shall now take a little drive, then watch a motion picture on DVD.

Camelot was the last play I did back when I did local theater.  I love that show.  I wish Mr. Cable Guy would get a move on!  I haven't had a call and it's after 7!

I have been visiting friends in Toronto.  It's a small village about 90 minutes drive North of Sydney.

And at present I'm waiting for a plumber to arrive - we have been having water pipes replaced and by-passed over the past few weeks.   We may be without electricity for a while today.  I may return later.  I hope all the Kimlets are well.

MR BK - if you ever feel down, look at the smiling faces of the members of HHW....MOST of us would have never known the others if it were NOT for you.
