Boy, they weren't kidding when they said it was going to warm up. It is 107F. Didn't I just have the windows open a couple days ago because it was so nice out?

Yes, there will be total male and female nudity in the stage Nudie, from the ensemble.

The person on Shayne's list that I was going to definitely use for the reading (if he's available) is Greg Jbara as Eddie, the backer.  Couldn't do better than that.

P.S.  That is not a picture of Coleslaw in the fairy princess outfit.

Prove it!    ;)

If any of you have let your subsription to the News Tribune lapse, you can get a semi-preview of the picture by going to http://www.multicare.org/

There is a mini-slide show at the site, and one of the five photos is of me in my rowboat.  Unfortunately, this one looks like I was halfway across the lake when it was taken.

P.S.  That is not a picture of Coleslaw in the fairy princess outfit.

Whatever floats your boat.......

Seriously, You look great TCB...

Something to make all of us feel a little better:
When you have a 'I Hate My Job' day, [even if retired you have those sometimes] try this:  On your way home from work, stop at your pharmacy and go to the thermometer section and purchase a rectal thermometer made by Johnson & Johnson Be very sure you get this brand. When you get home, lock your doors, draw the curtains and disconnect the phone so you will not be disturbed.  Change into very comfortable clothing and sit in your favorite chair. Open the package and remove the thermometer. Now, carefully place it on a table or a surface so that it will not become chipped or broken.  Now the fun part begins.  Take out the literature from the box and read it carefully. You will notice that in small print there is a statement: 'Every Rectal Thermometer made by Johnson & Johnson is personally tested and then sanitized. ' Now, close your eyes and repeat out loud five times,'I am so glad I do not work in the thermometer quality control department at Johnson & Johnson.' HAVE A NICE DAY AND REMEMBER, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE WITH A JOB THAT IS MORE OF A PAIN IN THE BUTT THAN YOURS!

Spent the afternoon hunting the gravesites of famous dead people - in the rain.  Photos later...

I worked for about 3 1/2 hours at the office then came home and hung blinds in 4 windows and spray painted a couple wooden boxes I'm going to use as planters

Why would we be complaining about traffic jams that disappear?

LOL, I enjoy working, both on the house and at the office, so although it wears me out, I'm smiling

If I can just get the house vacuumed before bed, I'll have all my list done, but I don't think it's gonna happen

I suppose I'd better finish getting dinner ready.

Pasta (rigitoni and medium shells, mixed) with a sauce of sweet Italian sausage, onion, bell pepper, crushed tomatoes, thinned down with dry vermouth, and some herbage thrown in.

I'll have some garlic bread ready on the side.

Slow here today.

Tomorrow should be busier.

Pasta sounds good.  I didn't eat very well all week.  It was just to chaotic.  I don't like that.  I took some trail mix to the office so I'm not just eating junk, but even that isn't the same as a meal.

It's been beautiful here today. All the flowering trees and bushes are still in full bloom. The temp was cool but warm enough to open up the windows and air the house out.  Not the best for the allergies, but I love having fresh air in here.
