Back from church.

Getting ready to do another round of church singing this afternoon.   :P
Somehow, I don't think by round you're referring to "Row, Row, Roy Your Boat."

DR SWW - thanks for the warning about how crowded the stores are this weekend.  I'm on my way to Kroger and consider myself suitable prepared.
You're welcome.

And it's time for me to get going for another round, myself.

Hasta.

All alone in the place.  Gee guys, come on out (or is it in), I am not contagious!

Quote from JoseSPiano yesterday:

The weather here in NYC continues to be on the "cool" side, which really isn't such a bad thing, but... I actually think I want some warmer - hotter - temps soon.

I will remind you of this, Jose in the middle of August.

No reminder will be needed.  Summer.  August.  New York City.  It's supposed to be hot.  I faced that reality years ago.

Nice to see you too, Tom.

Will you be seeing your doctor this week to check on the progress of the MRSA infection?  Or at least to get some stronger drugs.  ;)

Walmart is indeed open on Sunday...in fact at least one of the three Walmarts here in Salem is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I like that in a store.

Earlier today it went to an estate sale...it was the second day...everything was 1/2 off!

I like that in an estate sale!

When it opened, at 9am, there were exactly 8 of us customers in line to get in....and the estate sale people still decided to have us sign in on the sign up sheet!  ::)

And they called out our names to enter the sale, one at a time.

I am scheduled to see my doctor on Thursday, but I may go back on Tuesday instead.

I have never been to a Wal-Mart.  Before yesterday, I had never been to a Costco.  I have been to a Target once.

What?! Man, have you lead a sheltered life -- or you're an alien (perhaps from Planet X -- hmmmm, autobiographical by chance?) .... Every red-blooded American has to experience Wal-Mart ....

What?! Are you well? No gratuitous poster in his (or her) right mind would ever admit to having "nothing much to say." The chicken soup is on its way, DR SlapHappy...

Yep, I think that's their MO -- 24/7 -- P-Town is on the small town side, and the one here is 24/7 ...

Well, that new pic/avatar was taken while I was out in L.A., so... No Levain out there.  ;)

There might be a Levain or two in my near future today.  We shall see.  However, I have a feeling it will be another Lower East Side day for me.

Oh, and by the way, DR MonkeyCakePeddler, if I had not been doing the thesis stuff, I would made a road trip to LA in a heart beat to join you and DS for the outing and visit. I miss your smiling face (another reason I like your avatar, I get my smiling Enabler fix...well, sort of, live is much better...)
