Liked it very much, loads of fun. It was great having Karen Allen back. I do not think Harrison Ford looks like Gary Cooper as he ages. It was funny, he seemed to get younger looking during the action scenes.

Going in Magnificent Men's favor was it's willingness to set aside the comedy at times in favor of getting the majesty of it's subject right, the early days of flight. But parts of it now feel sadly dated.

Great Race, of course, has Blake Edwards at the helm.

I have never been able to sit through MMMMW. It ends up being too Missouri for me. Show me.

I agree with you, we have never depersonalized our homes. I’m also a rat pack. If we were to put this house up for sale I can look around and know exactly what I would have to pack away, and there would still be plenty of personal stuff sitting out. For one, my rock collection would get packed away. It would also be hidden from Keith so he couldn’t toss it, which he tried to do with every move

Jane, it is the agents who want to do the staging. I've already gotten rid of as much clutter as I could and still live here. I love old things and have lots of antiques and two semi-antique Oriental rugs. I know that one of the agents prefers a much flashier look. I know, too, that many buyers would like to have a new kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances. My kitchen was new when I moved in and I've replaced the appliances as needed. It simply doesn't make sense for me to replace the kitchen. No one's suggested it, but I suspect the house would sell more quickly if I did.

When I moved here, location was of prime importance. I have that. But many buyers today put less emphasis on location and want more from the house. I'm just not a glitzy person, which is one of the reasons why I love old houses. I love the patina of old things and knowing that many, many stories are contained within the walls. As usual, I am out of step with the mainstream. Why am I surprised??

I use the Boiron pellets, just because they're easy to find. There's an Arnica ointment that you might like. My doctor prefers his patients to take the pellets-- to heal from the outside in. The tube of pellets (tiny pills) is small enough that I just keep one in my purse. Very convenient.

Managed to watch an assortment of wonderful things tonight. I began by finishing the Arthur O'Connell episode of THE FUGITIVE which I had started mid-afternoon. Good episode. Another close call for Dr. Richard Kimble.

I've been doing a lot of little things around the house this weekend. I was thinking of painting, but I really needed to spring clean and although I haven't gotten everything done, I made a big dent. I'm going to do some more tomorrow and pick up the paint for the upstairs bathroom so when I'm ready it's here and I can just do it. It's a small bathroom, it will be a one day project.

The next episode had another famous guest star - Tuesday Weld playing a blind girl used to getting her way. A very unsympathetic character for her. Very interesting story. Elizabeth Mac Rae played her sister. Paul Carr was Elizabeth's fiance whom Tuesday was trying to take away.

Back from the put-in rehearsal, which was fine. Apparently, last night's show was the best we've had - wish I'd been there. Today's show was excellent, but not with a boisterous audience as they had last night, when, I was told, they had to keep holding and holding because the laughs were going on so long.

To bring me up to THE TUDORS, I put in disc one from the NCIS box set from last season and watched the second episode of the season. Jethro Gibbs was still retired but came back to work on a case. By the end, he had rejoined the agency. Hal Holbrook was the principal guest star.
