I've got to get what I'm taking to drink to the cookout (BYOB: I'm doing a shaker of mixed drink for myself).

I went to the arboretum today. I think I left my camera at church yesterday, because I can't find it here at home. I just knew I'd have close perfectly lit views of things since I didn't have my camera along, and I was right.

We had nice views of a snake (non-rattler), vultures, butterflies, and hummingbirds. And no camera.

Did anyone mention Felix Mendelssohn?

Jo is feeling poorly; I suspect it's something one of the grandchildren has passed on to her. I'm hoping it comes nowhere near me but I still have two days to be infected. Oy!

Both Freddie Martin and Felix were mentioned, yes, a few pages back - Freddie by me, Felix by another.  There are more to be had so put on your thinking caps.

I shall now be on my way to see the new Indiana Jones movie.

Fanny Mendelssohn, Felix's sister! Was she mentioned?

Enjoying a lazy day off.   Walked a few blocks to the main drag earlier this morning to view a traditional  small town Memorial Day parade.  Fun!!

I've had the best 3 day weekend ever. I've been by myself almost the whole time, no plans.  Just hanging out, working on the house, doing a little shopping, hanging out with the cats and getting some sleep. It's just what I needed.   I did go to the office for a little while today. I have a hearing at 8:00 AM, so I needed to get the file so I can work on it a little tonight

I had a crappy three-day weekend, thank you very much.  Most of the time I have been in pain, and been sick to my stomach, but worst of all I had to miss THE LAST STARFIGHTER.

Although, I am sure that Fred and Skip preferred that to my getting sick while the show was in progress.   :-[

Sorry about the Fester error earlier...    :(

To atone:
Sing 3 Hail Marys (Schubert or Bach/Gounod)
Sing 5 Our Fathers (Malotte)
And add a Kol Nidre or two to be sure

You need to find a better drug dealer or a Jewish Mother.

I know a couple of people who combine those roles.   ;D

You're actually supposed to do Kol Nidre three times.   ;)

I am not quite as blood-thirsty as my typo paints me, DR derBRUCER....I should have written Off TO Lowe's.

We have completed things for the most part, and I am very tired.

I will take some pictures as the week progresses and things settle down.

I just had to type the news release for Footloose and its cast of 53!

And now I shall do some work on Act Two of ALL MY SONS, the play that will be made famous when Miss Katie Holmes comes into New York to star in it next fall.

And the word of the day is: GARBOIL!
The archenemy of the Smurfs, GARBOIL, attacked, and the whole little blue community turned into chaos.

That will be the title of my next novella:  Some Bouncier Vamps...
So, you'll be writing about a group of buxom female bloodsuckers this time?
