BK I guess the way to make sure the musical director does not forget the music is to bring your own copy!

No water around this morning, it is already a warm 76 degrees.  The air is on.  I have used the last bag of mulch to fill in the Pet Sematery and the flower bed, and now I will enjoy my Sunday.

Here's hoping the final BRAINEX performance is smashing.

I am shocked, SHOCKED that the MD forgot the music AND that the drummer didn't bring his full kit.  It really sounds like amateurs ville for sure.

I remember going to the Jerry Lewis Cinema to see WICKED WICKED because the previews promised a revolutionary NEW process....that couldn't be shown during the preview......

Still not quite sure what it was.....two 35mm images printed on one BIG frame.....it wasn't very successful anyway.

Maybe if they had done THE ROBE in DuoVision, it might have caught on.

If the Trailer was so long it needed two Longs, I hate to think how long the whole movie was.

Wasn't The Thing With Four Arms originally titled Ethel and Her Trained Hands?

Yesterday, Der Brucer said

Der B - if you look at the photo, I don't think it's lit.  That's the cigarette he put in his mouth to keep dry so he could smoke it once he got everyone to safety and could take a minute for himself

...Hitchcock's cameo appearances...

How were they mounted - rings, necklace, brooch?

Don't know much this morning. Think I'll get the paper and make some breakfast.  I need to run a few errands before getting back to work. I'm thinking about seeing if I can find some rhubarb to plant.  It grows so well here and I forget how much I really like it until I make it.

Oh - I had never heard of Matt Battaglia before yesterday's posts.  He's got some pretty provocative pictures out on the internet!   :o

I know you haven't been here as long as some of us, but DR MBarnum and I have been speaking lustily of him for many years (and several times since you've been here). Every time he guest stars in a show or is in a TV commercial, I mention him.

You must have simply skipped over my posts about him.

It's supposed to get to 98 today. Got to 97 yesterday. IT'S HOT. Enough said. (No relief until midweek at least).

I had every intention of beginning JERICHO tonight, but seeing ads in the newspaper for BET's AMERICAN GANGSTER caused me to look at its release date and see that it's this Tuesday, not next Tuesday, so I'll have to begin it today.

It's a ten episode series on famous African-American gangsters. Scanning over the list of subjects on the back, I really am not familiar with any of them, so this should be a most instructive afternoon.

Remember the bus posters for "GODZILLA" - Size DOES Matter!

And "Something Big Is Happening" wasn't the tag line for an ED remedy.

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And I slept rather well last night after all the hubbub outside my apartment died down.  Alas, now that I'm awake and out of bed, I sort of just want to go back to bed.  Hmmm...
