Nothing like visiting Ducky in his lab for lunch.

der Brucer

Oh wait - DEXTER!

Ducky is my favorite character, so going to his lab is always a pleasure.

Now, I need to head down to get clothes sorted for washing today and then into the kitchen to find something for lunch.

I suspect MattH and Jose have different visual images of "Checking liver temperature".

Now we all know bk scorns "fads" - like Tapas; so what's with all this buying of "waters"! What happened to an old fashioned pitcher of ice water and some tumblers (glassware, not acrobats)?

der Brucer

It's not ME - singers today love to have their little bottled waters - as does everyone else.

Good morning. It is my last day in Olive Branch, MI. Had breakfast with Laurie and Eileen. We said our goodbyes to Beverly, Gigi, Janine, and Jeffrey and we all exchanged e-mails and phone numbers. I am happy to be returning home, but sad to leave all of these wonderful people, although I will likely be interviewing a few of them in the near future.

I don't think bottled water is so much a fad as just a simple convenience...it is so much easier to carry a bottle of water around then to run over to the water fountain. And drinking plenty of water is healthy and good for you.

Jennifer - I didn't have a copy of the music, and even if I did, it would only have been the piano part, not the charts for the band.  It's actually incomprehensible and he knew it.  He knew he had to teach right up until the sound check.  He knew he had the gig.  How do you leave the music at home (not to mention all the chords for his keyboard, which we were using for keyboard two)?

Well, while you're at the airport you could enjoy some BBQ from either Corky's or Interstate.  ;)

In other news...

I now have my coffee, my breakfast (an egg, bacon and cheddar wrap), and a copy of the Sunday Times.  Works for me.

*I was actually thinking of heading to the Park and/or midtown this afternoon, but then I turned on NY1 and was reminded that today is the Puerto Rican Day Parade... And when I stepped out a few minutes ago to get my coffee, breakfast and paper, there were already lots of families heading to the subway with their flags in hand.  Sounds like a good day to stay inside - in the A/C - today.

They're now on Summer Schedule.

We start much earlier and finish earlier.  And no second service.

Still, we had 5 choirs, a pianist, a rock ensemble, a fife and drum core, a world premiere, and a cast of 40!
