Gordon Cole - character in Sunset Blvd.  The guy who tries to rent Gloria Swanson's car at Paramount.  And to that I add that Gordon Cole is also the character David Lynch played on Twin Peaks.

Greer Carson, Johnny's little known first wife.

Maybe I made that one up.

Somebody bought me an unknown vegetable to cook for dinner.

They thought it was a turnip. It has the purplish skin. But it is shaped more like a large onion. And is white inside (vs light orange). Anyone know what it is?

I so wish that Cathy Rigby's "cat in the hat" performance on Broadway had been filmed.  Perhaps "Seussical" would have had a better run had she originated the role.

I wonder how Andrea Martin would've done.  Wasn't she supposed to be the original before David Shiner was broght in?

Broadway actor Gilles Chiasson...he was in Rent, The Scarlet Pimpernel and The Civil War and not on Broadway, Fermat's Last Tango. :)

DR tomovoz, I send my condolences and wish I could send personal hugs.

On a happier note, I had a lively phone call from Miss Kim Criswell in London, and she asked me to score "Night and Day" for her July 10(???) concert in Italy. I just called her conductor Kevin Farrell about getting his copy of Kim's piano arrangement, and I'll meet him at 6:30 for dinner to catch up on gossip and pick up the music. I miss my Kimmy, I do.

If Pinky Lee could prove he was the reincarnation of Wagner, would Das Rheingold, Die Walküre, Siegfried and Götterdämmerung be known as the Pinky Ring Cycle?
