Do you think that might narrow your potential casting pool?

Not if I work as the Casting Agent.

Actors who are real and who have enough confidence in themselves not to have to preen and brag.  I really loathe the obsession with everything oversized - boobs, guys' privates, whatever - I've never understood it, really.  I mean, I also will not cast anyone with huge boobs - not what this is about.

Well, that lets me out!

Apparently it's Kino Video, and their website does not yet say.   :-\

No, Greg emailed me offlist--it is indeed KinEvideo, a private site run by a nice guy who collects old 16mm films and transfers them.  I have gotten a bunch of stuff from him over the years.

I know she will.  I hope she'll be there opening night!

Um. I guess that depends where and when.

I'm listening to Ethel Merman's mid-70s Phase 4 stereo Annie Get Your Gun - she and it are fun.

We had a lovely evening. After work, my DH and I picked up our friend who is loving away from her soon-to-be-demolished log cabin. A realtor friend let us tour a house that's for sale in Marietta that was built in 1840. It's on a 4-5 acre lot---a 3 story house, with the first floor being rock, so the walls are very thick. The second floor has 14 foot ceilings and the 3rd floor, 8. It is in remarkable condition for its age but still needs lots of work.

There are lots of outbuildings, 2 or 3 made of rock and the rest are of wood. A wellhouse, a chicken house, a horse barn, etc. It was once a large farm but was sold to developers, who, to their credit, saved this house and enough land to give it context. My friend loved it, but it's probably more work than she's up for. The price is abour 500K. Any handyman out there who want to buy a farm?

Then we went to our friends house who did an amazing restoration on a Victorian home. (They won the preservation award from the State of GA last year). We documented their restoration for 5 years and then I cut it all into a documentary for them. I have to say it's one of my favorite things I've worked on. I like to get a pile of stuff and figure out how to put it together in an entertaining way. The ending is emotional for anyone interested in building preservation.

Then we had a fabulous dinner of roasted vegetables, chicken salad (deelish!) chocolate cake with orange sherbert with slivers of dark chocolate, impeccably served. Our friend was very happy to be there!

I hope to entertain that well when I grow up!

Jose -
Planning my visit to THE VISIT for June 20-21, expecting to see both the Fri evening and Sat matinee.  Any recommendations as to whether to stay in Arlington versus D.C. in terms of hotels?  Any Arlington hotel recommendations near the Shirlington area?

My good friends, Sharry and Micheal, just returned from D.C.  While they were there they went and saw their close personal friend Brad Oscar in THE MYSTERY OF IRMA VEP and then the next day they saw THE VISIT.  Sharry described it as one the greatest theater experiences of her life (which is going some).  After the show, she and Micheal had a lovely chat with George Hearn.

If you're loving away right, then you would be wasting away!
