They showed a clip of a train conductor switching hats as a bobby.

And my goodness Alex Baldwin is heav-vy.... course I haven't seen him since THe Shadow.

There was another one in the rehearsal....  They run more clips during the actual presentation of the Best Play award.

Glad to hear it!

I have yet to see it... hopefully going within the next month... too much to ask that Barlow'd still be here and in the audience.....  :P

If you say so, DRJOSE.  :P

I say so.

There are some beautiful ballads in the show.  Worth a listen on iTunes.

*And, seriously, it's been a long(!) time since I've seen a show with so much heart.  Lots of heart.

That was enjoyable, especially since the rap led into something more interesting.

*And as I mentioned earlier, I didn't think that that was the best 'clip' to use for the show.  Now if they were able to have a longer slot, the whole opening number would have been perfect.  ;)

There are a lot of songs that aren't rap.  The story is very touching. I agree its got tons of heart.

...And I know that Glory Days received a lot of hype due to the fact that it's writers were only 23/4, but Lin-Manuel Miranda is only 28.  -And he started writing the show when he was in college at Wesleyan.  Still a youngin'.

In the Heights is on our list for possible shows at the end of the summer.  That selection wouldn't have convinced me, but others' recommendations have.

Like the choreographer for SINGING IN THE RAIN shouldn't ask all the old men who are auditioning for non singing roles to learn the dance for MAKE EM LAUGH......
