I, too, loved Miss Kaye in Sweeney, and I, too, just didn't like the production. Maybe in its original incarnation in some shoebox in the UK it seemed fresh and thrilling, but not here on the stage of the Ahmanson, where it just seemed silly. I only lasted a few minutes with Company - totally awful, I thought.

I did go jogging. At about the half-mile point I again thought I was going to die, but slogged on and did about a mile and a quarter, then power walked the rest of the way. I'm just so out of shape and so overweight - I'm losing thirty pounds and there are no two ways about it.

They were so busy playing musical instruments that they didn't pantomime the story of baby Johanna and her mother. Nor did they when they revealed the identity of the beggar woman. Many people in the audience seemed to not know what was going on.

I find it interesting that when you go to the doctor, they assure you of your privacy rights. Then they hand you a five-page statement of exceptions that pretty much says they will turn your medical information over to anyone who asks for it.
