Think I'll watch a short skating DVD that I got from Netflix today.

Bye for now!

Was anyone surprised at the person eliminated on  The Search for The Next Elle Woods or whatever it's called?  Is anyone watching but me?

I started watching it online. But have not caught up yet.

I watched the first couple of episodes and set my DVR to record all new episodes, but not repeats.  But even though it's rebroadcast many times over the week, they're ALL marked as new, so my DVR indicated that it was going to record a dozen or so episodes! :P I deleted the series recording and have forgotten when the first real "new" episode is each week, so I think I've missed a couple. :-\

You can (i can't) watch them at mtv.com.

That's up there, DR George!

When they start posting things like that at my workplace, people get nervous that we're about to go through a "reduction in force."  Hope that's not on the horizon where you are.

I hope not!!  They used to update and post it every year, but then "things changed" ::) and it wasn't anymore.

DR George does your dvr have a "select this show during this time period every week" feature?

Well, I'm leaving.  I'm going to meet my friend Margo for dinner, and then she's going to come over to my place (my very cluttered place...but she's got a cluttered place, too, so it's okay ;)) and watch the rebroadcast of the pilot episode of "Eli Stone" in hi-def!

Until later!

I don't really get why they don't let people in canada watch on cbs.com or mtv.com.

I have been watching on youtube. It's not as convenient. But at least i can see a lot of it!

I think i'm gonna go watch SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE now.

Btw, I just watched CANADIAN IDOL. And they are doing things very differently. Last week they had 24. And 2 nights of performances. ANd got rid of 2 per night (totally 4).

So now they have 20 and they got rid of 2 per night (total 4) so they have 16.

And the host said next week they will go to top 10. Meaning they will get rid of 3 per night (total 6). That seems crazy.

And even crazier is that another 2 girls went home tonight. There were only 9 to start. We lost 3 last week. And now 2. So there are only 4 girls out of 16.

There is really only one who is fantastic.

And there are these two brothers who are phenomenal. I'm betting one will win.

I don't think so.  I know that it has the global "new and repeats" or "new only" options and "this channel only" or "all channels," but I don't think that it has a "this time period every week" option...I'm pretty sure.  I'll check tonight. :)

Der Brucer and I went to see a cinematic entertainment titled Wall-E this afternoon.

I genuinely enjoyed it.

No, that's not exactly stating how I feel about the film.

Let's try this:

Yep, that's more like it.

Thanks Jane and Ginny!  He is the best little boy on the planet.   Not too fussy, and has such an agreeable disposition.

Lucky you and the gift IS awesome.  Neighbors gave our oldest son a gigantic stuffed bear when he was about Gabe's age.  It was great!!

I love the photo :)

For the first time in three years, they've posted a seniority list for where I work.  I'm number 35 out of 329!

Wow, you are high up.  I hope this gives you job security.

What was your vow?  Was it "I remember it, it was my favorite"  (a Hello Dolly title song reference, not found in WALL-E)

I’ve been busy with an unsuccessful search on the internet looking for information regarding a ring I have that belonged to my aunt.

Today I happened to notice on the inside of the gold band it says WWH & Co.  I began a search & found a few items, no rings or jewelry, vintage items for sale.  Nothing was expensive.  I also found someone else requesting information regarding a WWH & Co. ring.  I can’t find anything on the company at all and am somewhat surprised & frustrated.

First, I want to send a BIG thank you for all the positive vibes for my interview tomorrow and I will definitely keep you all posted.

Secondly, A FAVOR?  Did anybody record "The Capture of the Green River Killer"?  It premiered on 06-02-08 and I recorded the 1st part.  I didn't realize that there was a 2nd part and can't find it anywhere.  If anyone knows how to get a hold of this or even both parts, I would be happy to help out in getting it to me.  I would love to see the end of this.  Tom Cavanaugh is very good in this as Detective Reichert.

Have you tired the historical society in the town she lived in or perhaps if she received it as a gift where the ring was purchased? A historical society in a said place might reveal a few clues or even a library. I would check a city directory from about the time she got the gift for the initials WWH.
