Der Brucer's son-in-law just dropped off an ugly trailer, which is now sitting on the yard portion of our home.

I guess the gas crisis hasn't hit home. Son-in-law hooked up a trailer to his Ford F250 truck so he could transport his precious Vintage Mustang to the beach - the family came down in the mini-van.

We have our Thanksgiving parade in the autumn when it is cooler.

"cooler" = mid eighties?

Going to the O'Neill Center in Waterford, CT to see the show MYTH tomorrow.  Dear friends Maureen and Bill are in it.

But I hear the weather is expected to be lousy, so I hope there are no trian delays.

DR FJL, tell Maureen and Bill howdy for me!

The Rehoboth Farmers Market looks like a great place!

And all those wonderful shade trees just blocks from the beach!

You've heard of the British nation and the French nation, this is the Procrastination.

(almost a Miracle on 34th Street reference)

I'd like a Miracle on 33rd Street - a return to grandeur:

DR SWW, I actually did ask the DH if he wanted to carry me across the threshhold.

He said, "What do you want me to do, break my back?"   :)

Glad the stores were empty DR MattH. I am hoping the freeway is the same as I must hie myself to the Portland airport soon to pick up an out-of-towner from Baghdad.

-And, now, I'm flipping between "A Capitol Fourth" and the US Olympic Swimming Trials.

Hmm... It does indeed look like Taylor Hicks had had a bit a of grooming and tweezing for his Broadway debut.

I keep looking at the proposed plans for the redevelopment and expansion of the Penn Station and the Post Office Building, and they are indeed Grand.  I'm just not sure if they're necessary.

Awww...  And as the camera pans over the members of the National Symphony Orchestra... And as I start seeing the faces of my friends playing or "taceting"...  Awwww... A little pang of homesickness.
