Well, you've read the notes, the notes had further ado, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're having some ado right now.

bk, glad to hear that you will be in New York soon!  You are welcome to stay with us, but at a half hour train ride outside of Manhattan, that's probably not very convenient.

Yesterday, we all went to my parents' house to play some Sorry and Aggravation and conversation (mainly family stories and history).  Later in the afternoon, we all went to Applebee's to celebrate Larry's (my sister's boyfriend) birthday and more conversation (again, mainly family stories and history).  After that, we went back to my parents' house for more conversation (guess what about) and playing of Phase 10.  We finished Phase 10 right at midnight.  I came home and watched a repeat episode of "Doctor Who" (Martha's first episode) but should've watched last night's brand new episode.

This morning at around 11:00 am, the aunts (my dad's two sisters) are leaving to go back to California. :( I thought that they were going to be here for two weeks, but I was wrong.  So I said my goodbyes last night, when I left.  And then this afternoon (around 2:00 pm), my cousin John and his wife Angel are heading back to Coquille, Oregon (which is a good thing, since that's where they live).  I'll be able to see them today before they leave to say goodbye then. :)

It's been wonderful to reconnect with my relatives.  I highly recommend it, (as long as one's relatives are worth reconnecting with...as are mine). ;D

Now I need to get moving. I haven't cleaned at all and my parents are on their way here,   I think i'm just going to run the vacuum and say forget the rest. We're not going to be here for more than a few minutes anyway. I'll check in later....

Too bad you have to clean on your birthday! There should be a magic birthday cleaning fairy to do that for you.

Anyway, Happy Birthday. Hope it's a good one for you.

Joe Kolinski and his lovely wife Allison and their wonderfully delightful (and super-bright) daughter were over for dinner last night.  And believe it or not, the word "callipygian" came up in dinner conversation - what are the odds that it would be the word of the day today?

Good morning, all! Wasn't callipygian a word of the day not too long ago? Or was that steatopygian?

This morning, more Toyland notes here, then the 42nd Street NYPL to peruse correspondence by producer Charles B Dillingham. When I get back here, I need to thoroughly vacuum the apartment as a preventative measure, plus the floor needs vacuuming.

Best hotel: 2002, London, The South Bank Hotel. Wonderful! A great place to spend a week or more. I've forgotten the name of the hotel on Oxford Street where I stayed in London for a month in 2001, but it was also quite wonderful.

TOD: We honeymooned (well, one night) at a primitive little place in Oak Creek Canyon on the banks of Oak Creek. No telephone, no tv. Just a fireplace.

DR EDISAURUS, I loved watching the CLOSER gag reel, but the camera was too high in the shower scene.  ;D

The show went well last night, but Chris is just TOOOOOOOO slow, he won't speed up no matter what anyone tells him, brings the whole energy down, but he is saying MOST of his lines.

He won't stand up where I told him, too, now he waits too long, but I am not going to say anything else....there are other things he's doing that screw up the scene anyway...so....well I won't write what I am thinking.

Our Director's Handbook also specifically states that Directors should not schedule off site rehearsals on PRODUCTION NIGHTS because that keeps Board Members who are in their show from being available to work box office/parking/cleaning during our show....so of course SINGING IN THE RAIN is rehearsing EVERY NIGHT we are running.....  That puts a lot of the work on those of us who are left....as usual.
