I am in the middle of watching a very fun and very flashy Bollywood film. DHOOM:2, which is a sequel to the smash hit DHOOM.

I loved DHOOM...even thought it is of the action genre which is not normally my favorite...but this film, and it's sequel, are just so much fun, and they don't take themselves so seriously.

I promised to play Frisbee with a dog while the cat eats.  After playtime I'll feed the dog.

I'm really hungry but have no idea what I want to eat.  I was going to make a big batch o' tuna pasta salad, but I don't want to cook this particular evening.

If that event were in NYC, imagine how many people would be flocking to Celeste Holm's table.

Or Mary Stout's!

Well, now that I've watched Queen from Outer Space and Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, I wonder if I'm ready for Killer Clowns from Outer Space?

Whatever shall I eat?  I suppose there's Taco Bell or Quickie's for a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, but I'm not sure I'm in the mood for either.

Back after giving my computer a rest while I ate dinner.  It was running very slowly and now seems to be a little zippier.

I started to watch Thelma & Louise on BRAVO, but it was so cleaned up and so chopped up with commercials that I turned it off.

Welcome nine GUESTS.  I'm catching up on CD listening.  I was given a huge batch of new releases yesterday - so far the first two are great.  One is the score to the new version of A Raisin In The Sun, which is, surprisingly, great.  Filled with melody (unlike 90% of what passes for film music these days) and very beautiful.  Now listening to a good collection of music for Alain Resnais films, including, of course, selections from Stavisky by Sondheim.

What cat?

Friend's of ours.  It was fun.

I left the cat food in the cat area as requested (a nice place in the garage) & went out with the dog.  He was so cute I think I played with him longer than I should have.  After he peed we went back inside to find the cat hadn't touched his food.  His seizure meds are in that food & I wasn't leaving until I knew he had eaten it all.  Since the cat is shy with me I slid the dish in front of him, in the kitchen, & then sat with the dog to pet him while the cat ate.  Once the cat was done I figured the dog had enough of a break between running & eating, only he wouldn't eat unless I sat with him.

Those animals know a sucker when they see one.

Tomorrow a local grocery store is going to have Roses for 50 cents a piece.  Callie and Boo are planning to get me a late birthday present of a dozen roses.

Speaking of ankles, how are DR Kerry & DR Laura doing?

Did I miss anyone with ankle pain?

Yes, I'm a bit concerned about that. I may go down tonight to scout how may roses they actually have down there. It's a 24 hour store, so I may go see if the roses go on sale at midnight.  ;D

I am doing ok. Still a little stiff and sore. Kerry will see the doctor next week for his first post-surgery exam.

Ankle's been OK for a week or so.  But it still  starts hurting when I walk a lot, and that's not a good sign.

I thought you might have.  I know Sherlock would love to have a kitten but then we would have to leave him home to keep the kitten company & he prefers to go with us.

We soaked Sherlock's foot in Epsom Salt, maybe that would help the soreness.
