I thought you might have.  I know Sherlock would love to have a kitten but then we would have to leave him home to keep the kitten company & he prefers to go with us.

We soaked Sherlock's foot in Epsom Salt, maybe that would help the soreness.

If you get two kittens, that wouldn't be a problem  ;D

Sherlock seems to want me to play "find the sock".  Instead I'll see if I can get him to play "show me the missing sock"

Cute ;D  Just what I need, two kittens who will be old cats at the same time.  Been there, done that.

Also, the kittens won't necessarily bond the same with Sherlock.

Yeah Sherlock!!! He has solved the case of the missing sock. Soon he will be able to tell all of us where a sock goes when you put it in the dryer.

I think I'll run to the grocery store and see what I can find out about the sale on roses.

Since he hid the sock I was hoping he would find it.  He looks like a big Goofus but he is very smart. :)

Good luck with the roses.  At least you will know if they are worth returning for.  If you tell them it is your birthday maybe you can have the special today.

Back from a meal - I had some yummilicous roast chicken and a Caesar salad.  My tummy must be shrinking because I feel like I've eaten two pounds of food, when it wasn't really all that much.

I started RENO 911! back up and finished all 16 of the episodes in the set. Funny that Comedy Central/Paramount didn't waste ANY time getting this out on the market. The season I just watched tonight just finished up this week on the network. The set comes out on Tuesday!

In addition to the commentaries, there were about an hour of bonus features on the third disc. One was a half hour of psychiatrist interviews with the cast in character and improvising lines. Three of them were fall down funny. I'm sure these were all recorded for the shows but there just wasn't time to work them in this season.

And on one of the commentaries, one of the star-writer-producers admitted the show hasn't been picked up for another season yet, so maybe they thought they'd better put these out now in case they don't get picked up. (I think RENO 911! is one of Comedy Central's highest rated shows.)

The other bonuses were four extended scenes which had been (wisely) heavily edited for broadcast. These were the complete improvised sessions, and at least three of the four were way too long and needed to be cut for broadcast.

Next, I watched THE SIMPSONS MOVIE which I had recorded this afternoon on HBO-HD. No better or worse than any regular SIMPSONS episode, I'm glad I didn't pay to see this in a theater or to rent/buy the Blu-ray. This will be the only time I'll ever watch it.

Next, I watched another BURN NOTICE episode. This was the one involving the $10 million hidden on a boat that Michael had to deal with. He also has a new agent on his back that he's trying to thwart. Good show.

It took me almost an hour to finish writing up the review for RENO 911! even though I had been working on it off and on since Friday morning. But now that's done and posted.

Tomorrow: TV FUNHOUSE since the Criterions didn't arrive today.

The sale starts at 7:00 AM.  Apparently it will go all week and they will sell a million roses - I'm assuming that's between a number of their stores. So I'm also assuming that there will be more roses coming in every day, but I will be there bright and early.

If anyone has a BIG LOTS nearby, you may want to go down and get some of their $3 MGM dvds....I went and picked up I BURY THE LIVING, MONSTER THAT CHALLENGED THE WORLD, a DVD of GREEN ACRES episodes, TERROR IN A TEXAS TOWN, and DIE MONSTER DIE...

....they had tons of titles...all the old PINK PANTHER comedies, MOUSE ON THE MOON, oldies like HALLELUHA I'M A BUM and BARBARY COAST, lots of foreign classics, westerns, war films, and comedies...and lots of newer titles as well. Oh, and they had ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE....I bought 3 DVDs of it myself, always good to keep a stock handy as emergency gifts.

Good Evening!

When I woke up today, I knew I had planned to do this, and had planned to do that.  But I had absolutely no idea just how much fun it would be to do this and that.  In short, I had an absolutely wonderful day.  Unexpected and wonderful!
