Thanks, DR Jennifer.  Boy, that is a long time between the announcement of the nominations and the actual ceremony!

DR Ron P., I agree to a T with your entire comment on BB10.

I think Brian got caught up in the excitment of the game, and he seems to realize it. I imagine he is probably a pretty fun guy in regular life. Dan is being much more low key then I had expected him to be. He will be interesting to watch, although if he plans to always stick to his word, he is likely not going to stay in the game long...unless he never gives his word to anyone.

I am eager to find who Steven will end up being buddies with. I think he developed a bit of a crush on Brian.

Renny, Renny, Renny...interesting gal. LOL! I do like some of her clothes.

I particularly agree with Ron as per his comment on Jessie's body. It takes a great deal of work to do that. It is like a sculpture or a painting, only you are using your own body as the media. Anyone who has the discipline and fortitude to do it has my hearty respect...and for me it is pleasent to look at  8)

I still don't fault Ollie for what he did. It was a good move for him. Keeping your word is not ususally an advantage in this game...in fact making promises to people this early in the game is not a good idea at all. At this point you hardly know the other players well enough.

Libra is so pretty! I love her face.

I am now the owner of a collapsible hiking stick. Just in case.

Do you have a permit for that concealed weapon, missy?     ;)

Well renny, the less said about her the better. Nobody seems to like her. and i actually thought she was the one way out of line in the jessie fight.

She is annoying, yes.  Very annoying, and then some.

But in her defense, she was absolutely correct in calling Jessie a liar in Jerry's room after he said he wouldn't accept an apology that was two days too late.  She did apologize to him -- twice -- the night of the incident.  He was wearing that hooded jacket.  CBS showed the footage during that evening's broadcast after Jessie claimed she never apologized.

To me, he's the immature "boy" she claims he is.  In his defense, it does no good to go on and on about it the way she's done.  She's turning into a harpy.  He's young and has little to no use for anyone over 30.

Jessie was "wrong" about the apology and tried to mount a horse way too high for him.  But they both need to get over it and move along.

LOL!  I thought the same thing.  He was almost like a puppy dog when Brian was schmoozing him.  That's the most we've seen or heard out of Steven since the background CBS gave on him that first night.  Maybe he was pickin' up on that San Francisco vibe!  :)

I apologize for any comments or postings I made that you considered insulting.  My posts of the photos of Jessie yesterday were an attempt to get other opinions as to whether he looks "ridiculous", as you said.

It worked, I commented. ;D

Do scorpions travel in herds and troops of various breeds and sexes "til the world reels from shouts and squeals from Kerry who is afraid of encountering another one?  Apologies to Noel Coward!

For anyone who'd like to preorder the new book but is having trouble, the other simple way to do it is to go to kritzerland.com and order Murder At Hollywood High - I'll know it's for the new book, so no worries there.  It's the same price so everything works exactly the same.

Back from Mr. Geissman's.  I had to perform major surgery on a track.  When this guy hired us to do this he provided midi tracks of the songs - they were pretty cheesy.  Grant has replaced the drums on them, and put in real guitars and other percussion and up until this morning that's been fine.  So I comped the vocal on Beyond The Sea and we played it back and the track just sounded so awful with that disgustingly unreal synth brass and synth guitar interfering with Grant's real guitar.  Grant didn't really want to do anything else (this guy did not pay us enough!), but I told him to at least get rid of the synth guitar and the synth brass.  He nuked those and suddenly the track could breathe and sounded almost normal.  I'd also suggested adding a pass of vibes - he didn't want to do it, but Grant always knows when I'm right and ten minutes later we added the vibes and now the track sounds normal and even good, like it was almost meant to be this way, kind of like the George Shearing Quintet sound.

Going scorpion hunting?   ;)

You don't need the traps; just stab 'em with your retractable hiking stick.

Guess who just backed her own car down the driveway, parked it on the street, and then walked back up the driveway?

Just got sent a lovely Primrose review, plus at the end of it there's a link to an interview I did for the guy.  Check it out:

Naturally, Druxy is late.  Hopefully soon - as we're supposed to eat before going out there.

re: the emmy noms:

Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama Series

Boston Legal • ABC • William Shatner as Denny Crane

Damages • FX Networks • Ted Danson as Arthur Frobisher

Damages • FX Network Zeljko Ivanek as Ray Fiske

Lost • ABC • ABC Studios  Michael Emerson as Ben

Mad Men • AMC • John Slattery as Roger Sterling

I like them all but would have to choose michael emerson. To me he is magic.

If there is any justice, it will come down to Danson and Emerson. I, too, think no one did a better job on TV last season than Michael Emerson. I will be VERY unhappy if he doesn't win.

I didn't then but I will now.

I think he looks wonderful. More developed than the average man on the street? Unquestionably. And for some, that's not their cup of tea.

But he's not overdeveloped. Look at the guys in FLEX magazine if you want to see overdeveloped.

And the elves at Kritzerland will know I really want one of each and a sparkling prize (if they're not all gone)?
