Not really... Just the one that appears on the box of Crab/Crawfish boil. -I really like corn-cobbettes cooked with them.

What an ordeal!  JetBlue cancelled my flight because the plane from JFK wasn't going to get there (I guess that's the plane that would have turned around and flown us back).  There were two other non-stop flights out of Burbank, both sold out.  There was one with a stopover - I would have left at seven in the morning and arrived at nine-thirty.  Uh, no.  There was a red-eye that would have gotten me in at five-thirty in the morning.  Uh, no.  So, we checked the flights out of Long Beach and there was a 12:30 p.m. flight she could get me on and she got me the same bulkhead seat, so I grabbed it.  That means I don't get in the city until ten, but that's okay.  I'll check in, and then go to Joe Allen at 10:30 to have a salad with Kevin.  The only bad thing was the car rate is triple what it is to Burbank, but Kevin's picking that up, which is very gracious of him.  So, at least we'll have our full eight-hour rehearsal, and I'll be there for the show, to make sure the band rehearsal goes well, and that all the staging works for the venue.  Hopefully, my Sunday flight won't be cancelled.

And that's what I've been doing for the last hour.  The upside is, I don't have to get up at five in the morning, and I'll be able to jog before going to the airport, so I'll only miss two days of jogging at the most, although my intention is to get up early Friday morning and jog before rehearsal, and the same on Saturday before we all leave for Great Neck.

Well, BK, I came back here to wish you travel vibes for tomorrow in case you were enroute before I signed on in the morning.  Looks like there will be plenty of time for vibes tomorrow, but here they are, just in case:

Matt H.  I spent a good amount of time browsing your review site.  I enjoyed the reviews I read.  It was interesting to have read your approach to writing them.  I didn’t realize you have multiple comments to respond to after each review.  How long do you follow those for?

Am I missing something?  I can find your posts, including your reviews, but no way to open a list of your reviews without posts.

The reviews stay active for about a month and then they are archived. You can still access them but can no longer add comments, questions, remarks, etc.

If there is a way to just pull up a list of reviews, I don't know it.

Had a wonderful dinner downtown tonight with friends. We went to an Irish pub, and I had shepherd's pie, very tasty and just filling enough.

When we got back we did indeed watch THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM on HD-DVD. John liked the movie a lot (so did I) and really enjoying seeing it in HD with Dolby TrueHD sound.

While we waited for Gregg to join us after AVENUE Q was over, we watched selected song sequences from DREAMGIRLS on Blu-ray. John hasn't seen it, but is a big fan of the stage show and wants to come back and see the entire movie at some point. He also wants to see the second NATIONAL TREASURE, NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, and LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD, all on Blu-ray.

Since I finished the episode part of THE HILLS (with the special features still to go) today, I need to write some before I head down to bed.

Good night.

Well, I'm off, too.  We have a staff meeting at 9:30 am, tomorrow, and that's earlier than when I normally get to work, so I need to get to bed earlier (I'm just NOT a morning person).  So, I'm saying good night, now.

Good night, now!

I have some "Big Brother 10" thoughts about Jessie -- non-Spoilers.

A week or so ago, when Jessie claimed Renny had not apologized to him on their first night in the house, she said she was sorry, but that she had apologized.  He said she hadn't and he claimed it took her a day-and-a-half to finally do it.  His implication was that he wasn't willing to accept it then because he had no use for the time duration it took her. (This was, of course, in the face of the fact that she HAD apologized to him one-and-half days earlier, but he apparently considered himself to be too upset with her to accept it then.  And obviously she failed to apologize again at an "acceptable" time after the fact, known only to him).

When Steven went to Jessie's HOH room to make a pitch to him to help him stay, Jessie fired back at him that it took him 24 hours to come to his room and that he considered that a lack of respect.

What's up with these value judgments being placed on the passage of time?  I have visions of this young man growing up in an environment in which he was forced to meet some arbitrary timetable for LOVE to be doled out...either beat the clock or lose out on affection.

It's unique to Jessie, in my experience, as I've never witnessed anyone using such a tactic to express disdain for other people.  It's like he has folks on a stopwatch and they'd better beat a set time or else.

Just a thought....

Re: Project Runway -- no spoilers.

It's amazing to me that what looked like so much ugly in the sewing room turned out to be pretty amazing when it was parading down the runway.  There were problems, of course, and it was those problem garments we got to see the most of in construction.

Elmo:  Last week, Heidi wore her hair naturally but you could see roots.  This week, she had this braided stuff going on.  Maybe that's her in-between-bleach-jobs look.

I watched the "Sordid Lives" premiere -- "The Day Tammy Wynette Died -- Part 1".

Lordy!  I'm thinking they used this first half-hour to establish character relationships.  There certainly wasn't much story going on.

This is the first time I've seen Rue MacLanahan in years -- and I'm totally wondering what on earth has happened to her nose.

So that was my evening in a nutshell.

And precious little else seems to have been happening here at the forum.

BK is no sooner out his front door for a flight to NYC and the posting falls into the doldrums.

I can almost hear the thwacks of the bitch-slapping commencing.

That said, it's time for bed.

No, don't try to stop me.  I am unanimous in this.

G'night!
