I'm sure Elan will be thrilled at the thought of covering his kosher chicken with bacon slices :)

PS This is very much like the recipe Woody uses

He has already addressed this.  He could, however, use turkey bacon, or simply bypass that ingredient.

It's time to go home.

I have a sore throat.

This does not bode well, I fear.

If they did, I should print it out and send it in with my appeal!

I did dear, and you thanked me at the time! (Short term memory problems?)

Delaware isn't terribly populous, right?    ;)

No, but they all pile onto the six-lane highway which is the one and only road to town! (Which road shares space between cars, busses, motorcycles, bicycles, and in spots, pedestrians)

As long as we have a dog I at least want a small yard or dog run.  I much prefer to open the door when the dog needs out & I want to stay comfortable.

He hasn't learned to open the door yet?

You might enjoy the longer version of the story from Urban Legands: http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/christian.asp

Yes, thank you Jane, I have seen it.  I try not to ever post anything (except my often stupid jokes) without first checking Snopes.  George Adamson's murder in 1989 was indeed a tragic end to a beautiful story.

That explains why we never saw the previews, we didn't record
Saving Grace.

I don't either. I figured out I have to watch part of Saving Grace to see it, but I don't like that show either

Is Paris Hilton really bright after all, or is this being bright just an act as well?

Is there anyone on this site that is a fan of EUREKA?  I had never seen the show, but I was curious about it after seeing an ad for the new season.  I just got the first part of season one from Netflix today.

..and Amanda Plummer (in a part smaller than I would have expected).

I first saw Amanda Plummer in April 1982 in NYC at the Music Box -she had the title role in Agnes of God, with Elizabeth Ashley and Geraldine Page - what a night! (This was right before her cameo turn in World According to Garp.)

I have a question that i'm guessing some DRs will know the answer to.

I have a gas bbq (grill). Tonight i accidently left one of the burners on low instead of turning it off. The gas was off. But i went out. And when i came back i noticed the left side of the grill was still lit (although very low).

I'm assuming that since the gas was off that it was not using up any gas (is that correct?).

But if it runs on gas and the gas was off, then how did it stay lit (this is 2 hours after i turned it off).

Thanks!

If the gas was off, it wouldn't stay lit. There would be no fuel for it to burn

Thanks to the rest of you who gave me congrats on the trial.  It's really strange to get back to a normal schedule.

I wonder if the preview is on the TNT website.

Btw, i just found out Saving Grace season 2 will start here sept 4th.  It's not my favorite show. But it did grow on me!

He can only ring the bell for us to open the door.....or to play with him, or to give him attention, or just to watch us run. ;D

The gas was 100% off. I turned it off at dinnertime. Plus i double checked 2 hours later, when i saw one burner was still turned on.

I know sometimes even when the burners are off, it can stay lit for a short amount of time. Although i'm never forgotten to turn off one of the burners.

I love love love Amanda Plummer! When I worked at the Drama Book Shop, Amanda always brought the employees flowers. When I went backstage to see her after PYGMALION, she was really wonderful and we had a great visit. She was charming to my friend Jeff, and my memory is that we walked her to a taxi.

DR FJL - since, as you pointed out, the Federal tax law is what it is, I don't think any changes are required in your treatment.

I'm listening to UK singer (late 50's early 60's) Lita Roza. I remember a few of her early recordings from 78 rpm discs.

Had some roast chicken from Gelson's - it was actually not very good, but I was so hungry I ate it.

I had quite a nice evening of filmed entertainment on DVD.

I began by finishing ANNE OF THE THOUSAND DAYS. Bujold's performance has grown on me over the years, and I quite like it now.

Next, I plucked out of my towering stack of "fun" DVDs WATCH ON THE RHINE. I have only seen this movie once many years ago, so I enjoyed seeing it again. Had some really stirring speeches and some wonderful performances. Not a movie that "moves" but one of ideas and ideals just right for the era when it was produced.
