Since we're on page 6, should we gossip about Jerry Orbach's greedy son?

I like the new freecreditreport-dot-com commercial more than I liked the last one.

Nice that the older lady from the first  (restaurant) commercial is back in this commercial as well.
DANGGIT!!!  Now you've ruined the surprise!!!

Speaking of spoiled, here's the article on Jerry Orbach's greedy son.

Not that I'm taking sides, mind you.

I'm off to Kinko's and then a long awaited bike ride.  And of course, another evening of selected moments in the Woods.  I trust that you can all behave while I'm gone.

Der Brucer is being very very secretive.

A box from Amazon arrived, and he's hiding it.

Other than the fact that I know it contains my birthday present...

Other than the fact that I know it's discs of classic Doctor Who stories...

Now, if I could only remember which stories were arriving in that box!

I doubt she could have gotten Guy Madison!

Rory Calhoun and Guy Madison were a couple for a while.

I don't think Chris Orbach's being greedy. I think his point is that his stepmother's not treating him and his brother fairly in the estate.

I still love the score and orchestrations to "Calamity Jane."  "Red Garters" is still kind of neat in its way.
For "legit"scores, "The Big Country" is pretty mighty, and I'll admit "Blazing Saddles" is one of the best send-ups and most authentic sounding of them all!!!!

Did my long jog on a new route - not so many signals and curves - it was not a bad jog at all today.  One mine field exploded when I got back and I put a band aid on it until the end of the week.

Most of the books are packaged and will be shipped shortly.  A couple of orders have to be boxed because they include other items, and I'm trying to figure out what sort of box to use.

As Anthony says, You know you're Gay if your favorite Westerns are The Harvey Girls and Annie Get Your Gun. You know you're Gay if everything you know about football you learned from Good News.

This is funny!! ;D

Is Pluto in Uranus or something?

Not here in Washington state...it's illegal now.

OY!

Did this really all have to come up again?!?!?!?

So... Maybe the whole solution to the whole SPOILER ALERT situation is to just not discuss those shows, programs, movies, etc., on this site.  Just take those discussions to sites exclusively devoted to talking about those shows.

Would that work for everybody?

*And, yes, I find this whole discussion stupid and frustrating.  We all know that we live in different time zones and different countries.  Just deal with it.  Reading and posting on this forum should be fun.  Not work.

No, it won't work. When will it end? From taped reality shows to live reality shows to prime time TV and daytime soap operas. There will ALWAYS be the potential for something to be spoiled. I think everyone here has on good faith gone out of his way not to ruin anyone's fun, BUT PEOPLE ARE HUMAN AND MISTAKES ARE MADE. (I've made plenty of them but never purposely to ruin someone else's good time.)

I will continue to post as I always have, and if it's not acceptable, bk certainly has the power to ban me from his site. He IS paying the bills, after all, and his word is really the only one that matters.

Another picture to bring the sun out in your day...the lovely Rory Calhoun.

Ssshhhh...one of my actress interviewees admitted to me that she had a little affair with Rory while they were filming a western...

I don't blame her, lucky girl!

I think this is one of the few sites where everyone does try to be respectful of everyone and I think we can assume that no one here does anything to purposely annoy anyone (well, maybe I do - hardy har har har), so let's all calm down and I want everyone to post exactly as they do.  I have never had anything spoiled for me, and as MattH says everyone really tries their best.  If someone inadvertently says something that's a spoiler, then, oh, well - worse things happen (some day I'll tell you all about the mine fields - THOSE are BAD).  No one's getting banned from this site (I've really only banned one person in all of the years we've been up, and that was someone who came here from another site to deliberately cause trouble).

Like life, the site occasionally goes through little differences of opinion, and that's fine - just let's keep it calm and fun and deal with it in a nice way.  That's my two centimes on the matter.

Really - is Pluto in Jupiter or something?  Is Mars making rings around Saturn?  Is Uranus being difficult?

I began my afternoon viewing with more MYSTERIES & SCANDALS from a DVD-R I burned years ago. I began by watching the episode dealing with Jean Harlow. No new information is ever imparted on these shows, though it was kind of fun having Anita Page grumping about wanting the lead in RED HEADED WOMAN and begging Irving Thalberg for the part only to be told it was going to Harlow and that was that.
