I think this is one of the most AMAZING offerings of soundtracks ever.  There's not a loser in the bunch, and some of the titles are among my very favorite scores.

I hope all of the DRs who were feeling poorly over the past couple of days will be better today. Being sick is SUCH a drag.

I feel fine.  I actually got extra hours and days this week at Borders due to others not feeling fine.  I saw two of those people last night while shopping, and they're feeling fine now, too.

Because Mandingo wasn't controlled by an anal twit who doesn't see how one song presentation in "Dumbo" is far more profoundly racist than anything in the whole of  "Song of the South".

I find myself in mini-quandary about the Olympics.

I'm where I was 36 years ago when Mark Spitz was going for an unprecedented 7 Gold Medals.   At thrilling as the accomplishment would be for anyone, it seemed to be all that anyone could talk about...and that always seemed to be at the expense of other fine athletes.

That Michael Phelps has now won as many Gold Medals as he has in two Olympics Games is astounding.  He is the all-time medals champion in winning Gold Medals.

I do want him to succeed, and I know I'll be thrilled for him if he manages to do a sweep, but I also feel strongly that if his teammates, who hold current records in the coming events, beat him out for the Gold then it's a good thing, too.

Hello from extremely sunny southern Oregon.  We spent yesterday at Crater Lake, which was magnificent.  The info we were sent on this locale warned us about the "harmless" midge insects which infest this territory in the summer.  They unfortunately did not tell us about the swarming mosquitos which have eaten us alive, or, sadly, the migrating monarch butterfly population which has largely met its fate on the front of every car we've seen down here.

Ugh, DR JMK - when I was filling my car with gasoline this morning, I notice a moth that had been halved by my radio antenna - a particularly grisly bug fate.

I think this is a far more modest shot than we might get if the top weren't down.

Or was that the actual point?    ;D

Well, depending on the stroke they're doing, they wear different suits.  Some of them are just the bottom half.
