Fortunately, dinner tonight is more like appetizers. I took one of the crocks of pork confit, popped it into the stand mixer, and with the paddle smooshed it into a paste. In other words, we're being trendy and having rillettes tonight!
Three cheeses (Swiss, Cheddar, and a peppercorn brie), some summer sausage, and a salad will be rounding out the plates. That, and lots of toasted French baguette rounds.
And then I'll be immediately to bed, to sleep, perchance to dream.
If I dream of Milford, I'll be in trouble, because I've never been to Milford.
Things could be worse, of course. I could dream of Fresno. I've been to Fresno.
