Well, you request people individually and you can see who someone else's friends are. You can ignore a request, but I've never done that. You can also set your profile so that only the people who are your friends can see it. My "group of friends" includes many HHW denizens.  That's why I thought you might enjoy being there.

If you set your profile so only your friends can see you, how do new people find you?  I thought it was great Ginny reconnected with the friend who found her.

You can find names of people but not see their profile without asking to be a friend. Or you can set your profile to be public and others can see it.   If I'm saying anything that isn't right I hope other facebook people will correct me

They are now home and it looks so far so good.  

Good thoughts they stay that way.  Trips to the vet with the cats, I sure don't miss that activity.

Boo is hilarious. My cats have always been terrified going to the vet. She lets me know exactly what she thinks.  At least that's what it seems like to me

It's your full profile that only your friends can see.

I found my friend because she'd listed herself under both her current and former (maiden) names.  I modified my profile to do the same.

Nothing fancy for dinner tonight.  Der Brucer mentioned hamburgers yesterday, when he spotted a magnificent tomato at the farmer's market.  He's also mentioned sweet potato fries, because one of the people at our local gourmet shoppe sold him on a special bottled sauce that she said goes great with sweet potato fries.

Time to get cooking.
