I just opened the August issue of Choice: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries, and found a bibliographic essay titled, "YouTube Culture and the Academic Library: A Guide to Online Open Access Educational Videos."

A very interesting essay indeed. I hope you dont mind but I shared the article with several people I work with.

On the History Channel and its website, they are to show the documentary, "102 Minutes" tonight.  I may watch it but would probably just sob through the whole thing.

Ooh-- big storm brewing outside-- must go check and dance in the rain or at least let the wind blow through my brains!

We are expecting thunderstorms tonight, too, so I'm going to disconnect everything and go to bed.

'night!

Good Evening!

Well, I ended up staying for all but 15 minutes of the "Members Only" viewing tonight, and I'm glad I took a few extra minutes to do some reading, observing and absorbing.

*And I'm really wondering what the crowds will be like during the Members Only Preview Days of the incoming Van Gogh exhibit.   Alas, I just got booked for some work each day next week, however, there are Members Only hours in the evening next Friday, and I'm sure I'll be rushing up to MoMA after I'm done with Peter and the Star Catchers that afternoon.

And it looks like my brother, Mike, and his son/my nephew, John, will be arriving at Penn Station sometime around 10:00 tomorrow night... And they will be staying here. :)

*Of course, this means that Uncle Jojo will be cleaning, cleaning, cleaning (that's THREE "cleanings") tomorrow.

Well.. We all know what that means...

They were talking about YOU[/b]!

My first post was on November 15, 2001.

I hadn’t spoken to Bruce in awhile, so when Penny called & asked me for his phone number I decided to do a search for his new work number in case she had trouble reaching him at home.  I never found a work number but I did find HHW.

And while I was out and about, I picked up the Inaugural issue of Edible Manhattan.  It made for some good reading on the subway ride home.  However, I was already aware of most of the "finds" and "suggestions" given in the magazine. ;)

I got very logey all of a sudden.  Maybe it was watching Rodan, a very soporific film.

Greetings from Omaha...I worked this morning and then went home to speed clean as much as I could. I just couldn't get moving for some reason and didn't get packed and ready to go until about 7:00 PM.  As I went to the car I noticed the back door was open.  THAT's never happened. I thought Boo was in the livingroom, but no, as I went into the garage there she was headed toward the open garage door.

I said "Boo!" and started walking toward the door.  She went around the car and started scratching at the now closed door and cried to get in.  I gladly obliged her.  She ran into the house and hid for awhile.  Then came out and I hugged her and fed her...before leaving for a few days.  I have to wonder if she didn't accidentally get out or was thrown out of wherever she lived before coming to my house.  She definitely wanted back in when she realized she was out.  Hope that she's got that curiousity out of her system for awhile.

Well, after checking out the editorial information, I'm seriously considering submitting some writing and photographic samples.

My first three posts on HHW -   I found HHW after hearing the easter egg on Lost in Boston IV and having no idea who this person was singing "I Love Fish" I emailed Rupert Holmes. He told me about Bruce...I googled and ended up here, the rest is history

I thought everyone was way too well behaved.  The fun of watching the Golden Globes is someone having too much to drink and being outrageous. Didn't happen.

Ok. I live in Iowa, where it is way below zero right now, but that didn't stop me from going out for a hot fudge sundae when the Globes got boring.

I'm a criminal defense lawyer, but I love music, theater and movies. I used to perform occasionally in college then community theater and singing with a local bar band, but I quit that some time ago.

Now I love being in the audience. After all  "How can there be a parade without a crowd?"

The weather service is telling people in Galveston if they don't leave they will die.  Sheesh! That's a bit scary.

I had planned to get all my homework done for the institute but just got too busy with work. So, I may have to find a place to hang out in Bethesda and do some work tomorrow instead of touring.  There has to be somewhere I could just plop down and write a mandamus petition
